This is our favorite Pittsburgh noodle spot! Almost always busy because it is consistently very good & easy on your pocket, a great combination for your neighborhood eatery. Thai-Asian food for American tastes that does not negatively compromise that experience. We say that having recently spent time in Thailand & took a Thai-Akha cooking class.

The food is excellent with a great variety of "noodle" dishes. Service is fast, especially considering it was very busy, and the price is reasonable. Obviously a popular spot, which makes it a bit noisy. Keep in mind they don't take credit cards.

Noodlehead has a short menu, so if you are looking to impress someone, this is not the place. The food is tasty and the flavors are clean. I personally love the pretty arrangement of plants just inside the entrance, as well as the solid wooden furniture that looks repurposed.

For an appetizer we had the spring rolls which were nice and crunchy with a tasty dipping sauce. For main dishes we had street noodle 1 and pad thai. They were very satisfying, flavorful dishes and we all 4 thought that #1 in heat was just perfect!

People line up to enjoy the cuisine. Lots of noodle dishes as the name suggests. Good soups. Nice ambiance.

Delicious Thai. Caution: it is cash only, and it can get crowded, but they are good about seating quickly. Don't skip the steam buns. The Kee Mao and See Yew are delicious. The menu is simple and well done. Did I mention don't skip the steam buns?

The dishes are inexpensive and delicious. The flavors were so wonderfully balanced you could really taste all the ingredients. They offer a 5 level sliding scale of spicy which was nice having a sensitive stomach. I stuck to a 0 while my son went with a 3 which he felt was a good level of spice. We got steamed dumplings... Excellent noodle dishes in a noisy, busy restaurant. Select from a small menu of 8 noodle dishes, 2 soups, and 6 appetizers. Cash only, most dishes are $9.00. We sat in the back, it was chilly, everyone was wearing their coats, but the food more than made up for it. The front seemed warmer. Be aware that the spicy rating... More

Noodlehead has authentic noodle entrees for fair prices ($6-$9). The sauces were rich and flavorful and come in a variety of spice levels. Service for 2 was quick and waitstaff was friendly. Remember, this restaurant is CASH ONLY!
