We had a wonderful time at Vallozzi's. The decor of the restaurant is very attractive and comfortable and the tables have a decent amount of space between them. The booths along the wall in the main dining room are another matter. They are spaced too close to one another - just enough space to squeeze into and as a result... More

Had dinner before a show. Probably one of my new favorite restaurants. Started with grilled octopus. Amazing. My main dish was ravioli w/short ribs. So tender and delicious. Excellent ending to our meal... very generous portion of bread pudding. Definitely will return.

My sister in law and I ate here this evening prior to seeing the King and I. This is my second time here. First time was a company sponsored dinner and the food was very good. Based on my first time, suggested we go here prior to the show. Perfect choice. I had the pappardelle with the bolognese and it... More

Absolutely loved the cozy and artistic ambiance of Vallozzi's. Service was friendly and attentive. We were a party of eight, each choosing different entrees-- all were exceptional! They have a large varied menu, you cannot go wrong. It is a wonderful special occasion restaurant.

From out of town thus relied on TripAdvisor and Uber driver for suggestions. Went on Friday evening at 6PM. Surprised to get a table for 4 on open table. We had 4 delicious meals .that everyone enjoyed. The seafood Rissoto was just fabulous and hearty. The New England Clam chowder was the best I have ever had. Service was very... More

My husband has often entertained downtown clients at this restaurant and this time he took me. He always raved about the osso buco. From the moment I walked in here, I loved the place. From the frescos on the walls to the dining areas... everything was wonderful and all the different servers who stopped by were charming and helpful. I... More

Five of us enjoyed dinner at Vallozzi's. The olives were delicious. We enjoyed the meatballs, ravioli, shrimp pizza and the celery root like potatoes (the celery root was excellent.) I would not order the grilled octopus, it was more like charred and it over powered the octopus taste... I was very disappointed. The bread pudding was light and very tasty.... More

After some reviews was a bit worried about the food and service. I have NO CLUE how this place could get a bad review. We were seated promptly upon arrival with a reservation. We had a reasonably priced bottle of wine from the wonderful Italian wine list. Complimentary read with ricotta cheese and olive oil. We started with the Aranccini... More

Had a lunch appointment with a client and we got a late start so we were expecting many of our usual spots to be jammed. As we were walking by, we noticed that there was hardly anybody in there. Since we needed to get him back to the office pretty quick, we went in. Wow! Pleasantly surprised! Nice atmosphere, helpful... More

Dinner before seeing "Hunchback of Notre Dame" at Byham Theater. Ambiance...attractive surroundings, low noise level. Food...ordered the crab cake option, with a side of asparagus. Two crab cakes served were excellent, asparagus never arrived at table. Service...server was friendly, but not very efficient. We told her in advance that we had to leave in time to make curtain, we asked... More
