The Original Pancake house is not on a main road so it's easy to forget about going there. We visit Carnegie every year and we finally went there. The breakfast menu is huge--there are so many specialty items it's hard to choose. The prices are a bit on the high side--but the portions more than make up for the price.... More

We used to like this restaurant, but will go no more. Our server, Tyler, was talkative at first but it was downhill from there. When he brought the coffee, he was spilling it as he walked and then spilt it all over my sons paper menu and my husbands menu. Did he clean it or get new ones, NO! He... More

Took a friend for breakfast this morning with the intention of utilizing one of their buy one breakfast get another one free with the condition of buying two beverages. Not only did we meet that requirement but we ordered extra items such as juice, crepes and specialty pancakes. Frankly the food and service were good but when it came to... More

Parking is hell ! But yummy food I had eggs Benedict which I love! Egg was a tad bit overdone than I would like but good all the same. My bacon wasn't good it was way over done it came to the table and it was black. I had to pour syrup on in order to eat the it.

This place is very very good!! Food is very fresh, cooked to order. Good service. Pancakes are very good, big verify. Place is fairly big, so wait time is not too long. Very good place for a breakfast if you are in Southhills Pittsburgh.

The food at The Original Pancake House is terrific. The kids enjoyed their chocolate chip and s'mores pancakes while the adults enjoyed various french toast dishes, crepes and a vegetarian omelette. It was served rapidly and then we sat and chatted for a time without being disturbed. The one negative is that Gigi, our waitress, stood at one end of... More

We went for Valentine's Day breakfast. It was packed and they said it would be about a 15 minute wait but ended up only being about 5. I loved the atmosphere in this place and the decor, lots of plants and flowers. Our waiter was awesome and made us laugh. The pancakes were delicious and not overpriced. Also enjoyed the... More

Large portions and tasty eats. A lot of really great options that will not leave you disappointed. This place is delicious but comes with a bit of a price tag.

Great brunch with the family - went for the pumpkin pancakes, as always portions were huge. Restaurant was great just like the one we have in Minnesota
