We have been coming to Richboro and now Newtown for 20 years. Always a line waiting and it is worth the wait. Wait Staff is friendly, attentive, and fast. The menu is a perfect size and you are not rushed to finish

Casual dining in a comfortable atmosphere. A little bit greasy without the selection of a typical diner. A great location for breakfast.

My husband and I are not locals. We came here for a nice breakfast with family; although we enjoyed our time seeing family, we were disappointed with the restaurant. We had a party of 10, which is understandably more difficult to accommodate than a smaller party, so we called ahead to try to make reservations. They don't take them, which... More

A great all around restaurant. I love breakfast the most. Good variety on the menu with nothing too exotic.

We only eat there for breakfast and only have been to Newtown, not Richboro location. Food is always good, service good and it's always crowded on the weekends.

Nothing special, more of a diner atmosphere. Good place for a run of the mill breakfast.Good location.

Jake’s had a decent wait the two times we’ve attempted to go there. It’s basically a diner inside though. Food is moderate, but not the best breakfast I’ve ever had. It’s also freezing in there (AC was way too high when we went.) Overall just OK and I wouldn’t rush to get back.

Two locations: Richboro (original) and Newtown. Both have great staff although Richboro is a tad warmer. Breakfast food at both is reliably quickly prepared and as you like it. Richboro seems to have the better specials but Newtown tries hard. Prices at both are old fashioned reasonable. Lunch at both is quick, standard and reasonably priced.

I have been to Jakes in Newtown four times. All in the morning. All on weekdays. All for breakfast. The food and menu selection are typical. No signature item to suggest or make a specific trip for. I have always ordered eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast. All pretty standard. I have tried the other items as well. Again, all fine.... More

Great breakfast place. Lots of solid choices, plus there are always specials. Can get crowded after local church services. Eating at the counter usually gets you a quicker seat.
