Best ice cream in the area. Creative flavors and creations. Never disappoints. Located two blocks from the bike trail and Steam into history railroad caps off a fun visit to this small town.

This is a great place to get dozen's of varieties of custom made ice cream. Bonnie and Keith (Bon-Kei i.e. Bonkey) are wonderful and make all of their ice cream by hand. The are only open from Spring to Fall so you have to get it while it is HOT...

The lines are out the door all summer for good reason. The handmade ice cream and pleasant staff make this one of our favorites. I like to be adventurous and try whatever flavor the owner, Keith, comes up with. Whether it's a cone, cup or milkshake - it's all good.

This locally owned ice cream stop is a favorite among the local families. Bonkey's walk up counter serves ice cream, snow cones, shakes, sundaes made with their very own home-made ice cream. We always look forward to their opening day (usually March) and hate to see them close for the season in October.

Don't miss Bonkey's. It is in an old movie theater lobby. Window service as well. They have all sorts of summer treats. Just like an old soda fountain but without the seats and counter.

Great little ice cream shop, the workers were fun and the Ice Cream is home made and very good. You get A LOT for you money, go with an appetite.

Diabetics beware. Although Bonkey"s does have some "sugar free" offerings, your iron will is going to be tested to the max. Their ice cream is homemade and comes in dozens of flavors (80ish), like Bacon, Pumpkin and my personal fav...Banana Pudding. If the improbable happens and you don't see your dream scoop, they gladly seek suggestions for new flavors. But... More

So many flavors to pick from, but I got the chocolate chip ice cream and it was very good. Everyone was smiling, just a friendly place to enjoy of cold dessert.

Stopped by as a treat before my son went back to college. Place was busy but moved quickly. The Nutella ice cream was a refreshing change. Son got Cookie Monster which is gross but his favorite. It was on a pretzel cone which added a salty surprisingly good twist to the sweetness. I will get the pretzel cone next time... More

I went with my two young kids to Bonkey's based on these online reviews. We went to Shrewsbury from Towson to buy July 4th fireworks and then afterwards came here for ice cream. As it turned out, Bonkey's was a fitting place to go after buying fireworks. Taking my kids to buy fireworks was fun but a little sketch, and... More
