Following a local wedding our family and some friends (18 total) went here for breakfast. The breakfast menu was very comprehensive. I had the Greek omelet - not as flavorful as some that i have had but good. the Strawberry pancakes and waffles looked great. the pancakes were large and fluffy and filling by all accounts.

It is true family restaurant. Good quality food without unnecessary "fancy stuff". Relaxing atmosphere, good service, friendly staff, and reasonable prices.

A definition of adventure: trying to find a "non-chain" restaurant open on Sunday evening of a holiday weekend... we literally stumbled on the Windmill by accident. (We wandered over, exploring from the Lancaster area.) Even more amazing was the fact they were open until 9 pm. If it had been mediocre, we'd have been happy... but it was actually very... More

Tried it for breakfast. A quaint old-fashioned atmosphere/decor. Many choices on the menu with some PA Dutch twists to old standards. For instance, there's the Eggs Cordon Bleu : a combination featuring toast as a base covered with eggs, ham, cheese & creamed chipped beef. Escoffier is spinning in his grave. At 78 RPM. Surprisingly, it's good.

We stopped here for lunch while travelling through the area. The service was good. They service breakfast all day. The table had not been cleaned properly and some of the furnishings could be updated. The food was good and inexpensive.

Restaurant is close to the Holiday Inn on route 10 in Morgantown. The omelets are large with several types to choose from. Really enjoyed the fresh cut home fried potatoes. They don't make them like that in Texas. Try the grilled sticky buns. Yum!

This place has the potential to be a good restaurant. Country cooking with a gift shop is a good idea. Good location. However, it's just plain filthy. I have actually seen people walk in, look around, and then walk out. Needs a complete interior renovation. The food quality needs improvement as well. I can cook better than this. That is... More

I've been eating at the Wind Mill for years. The food is basic, Pennsylvania Dutch cooking. Food that sticks to your bones--meat loaf, real mashed potatoes. Great french toast! This place isn't fancy, but it's clean & the food is good! You won't leave hungry!

I have been going to this restaurant for many years...usually once per month from Spring through fall. The last two times we ate here the food was barely edible. The service is always good and they accommodate large groups of 8-12 very well. I don't know what happened to the chef but until they get someone else, I won't be... More
