Had a Deluxe Philly Cheese steak last night. Sooo good. My husband had a Calzone that was huge! The onion rings were awesome too. This is the only place I'm getting my cheese steak from, from now on. Real shaved prime rib meat,
My son and I got the prime rib special. Okay but no flavor or seasoning. My 16 oz prime rib was half fat. My mom got the NY Strip Steak. It was tough as shoe leather. Fresh cut fries were good. I would rather go...to a nicer, quieter restaurant with some atmosphere for over $20 a meal.More
My husband is diabetic and can't have most of the rubs and bbq sauces that come on ribs. At the Gateway Grill he can get them naked with a dry-rub. He said they are the best he has had in this area. I have had...several of their salads and they are very good also and the service here is very good!More
We had 8 people for dinner and after a long day we were all very hungry. This place was amazing. Everyone loved the food. I had the brisket and it was wonderful. Great place to eat and the prices were very good. This is a...keeper.More
Saturday at 5:00 and the place was busy.
While we were doing mini golf earlier in the day, I asked the attendant where I could get good pizza. Before I finished the word pizza, he said Gateway Grill.
When I went in for pickup I...quickly regretted the pizza decision as the place smelled great.
But the pizza was very good. I went with the Pittsburg style and even though I’m not a fan of thick crust, I’m glad I got it.More
This place set up an outdoor barbeque stand in their parking lot near the road. Presumably this is to supplement their take out business during the quarantine period. This is a heavily traveled road with lots of commercial business, so you also presume they will...have their food ready during the lunch hour. Not so. Pull into the lot at noon and somebody manning the grill tells you nothing is ready-- maybe in 20 minutes. I made two special trips on two different days to pick up lunch from this outdoor stand and neither time was it prepared to accept an order at noon.
Lots of people sitting in cars and trucks getting take outs from their inside restaurant, so it isn't like they are unprepared for lunch business. Just not their outdoor grill.More
I have eaten here many times lunch and dinner. It's a great place to take customers for lunch or dinner.
They have big menu selection and the pizza is wood fired. So, try the Gateway Grill and have an adult beverage while you're there.
