The place has a diner feel. The food was good. I had stuffed banana peppers as appetizer. There were 2 and they were very good and not too hot. The other party had sausage sandwich and it was also good. We also had the buffalo fries. They were good but more like potatoes cut like chips and fried but had... More

Hi WVallycat, Thank you for the stars and the great review. We are really happy you enjoyed everything from the food to the service, as we always want our guests to enjoy their visit. You mentioned "diner feel", since this is not our intention, I was wondering if you could let me know what made it feel like that? I... More

My husband and I had the hot roast beef. He had mashed potatoes and I had French fries. We also tried the roasted Brussels sprouts. Average taste, average serving size. Brussels sprouts over priced at $3.85.

Hi LucyLMY, Thank you so much for the review about your recent visit with us. The Roast Beef is my favorite protein on our whole menu (followed closely by our Faroe Island Salmon). The beef is actually a whole sirloin, dry rubbed with garlic, herbs and spices, marinated for 24 hours, then slow roasted and sliced very thin to preserve... More

I have been going to this place for 40 years. Maybe not quite since the original owner, Frank "Beechie" Bonnaza opened it as a little corner bar.....you know before they expanded the restaurant because the whole world migrated to Meadow Lands, PA.............the Tanger Outlets, The Meadows Racetrack and Casino, the Pa. Trolley Museum. Such is progress for what once was... More

Hi Thomas J R, Thank you for the rave review (and the edit of course!). A great history lesson for those unfamiliar with the long history of Meadow Lands. Thank you for being a part of the Beechie's Family for 40 years, and we hope to see you soon, enjoying the sandwiches you speak so highly about. Once again, thank... More

Host at the Microtel recommended this place for dinner. It was 7 p.m. on a Friday night. The place was filled with regulars. We were the only strangers in the place. Parking is a limited so the regulars just park in the alley. The Draft beer was reasonable, $3.50 for 16 oz and $2.25 for 12 oz. The house salad... More

Thank you Russell G for the great and informative review. We pride ourselves on the quality of our food, as first and foremost we are a restaurant. The salmon both you and your wife enjoyed was from the Faroe Islands, and always fresh, which does help with the quality. All of our cooks have been training with me for years,... More

This friendly, cozy restaurant & bar is worth jumping off the Interstate for excellent dining. It's also very convenient for lunch or dinner after visiting the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, which is nearby. The waitress was very attentive and the owner even stopped bye to chat.

Thank you PTM_4398 for the great review. We are so happy you were able to join the Beechie's Family! We always want to make our guests feel as if we are a second home for them, and hearing that we were not only friendly, but cozy too sounds like we achieved our goal! I went here with my wife and mother for a birthday. The only other couple in the restaurant was being quite obnoxious, and the waitress made it seem like i was the problem for saying something. Food is low quality, menu is limited. Just go to one of the chains. Its a shame to see a local establisment go down... More

Hello jjoeB, Thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. I did have a couple of questions so we can correct the issue. What day or time did you dine with us? Do you remember what you ordered? If you browse through our reviews on any of the regular sites, it is very unusual to hear that we have... More

My husband had the open face beef and mashed potatoes with gravy. He liked it. Of course, I had to give it a try and liked it also. Meat was sliced very thin and not fatty. Also liked the taste of the gravy. I liked my cubano sandwich and tossed salad. Loved sitting at the window and looking out at... More

Hello Seymour E., I wanted to take the time to review our menu before responding as only 8 out of 43 menu items (not including sides) are fried. Beechies offers many entrees and typical bar fare. There's always a good selection of beers on tap, and specials. The hot sausage sandwich has been a favorite of mine for years, and my father's before me!! Check it out!!

We used to stop by Beechie's years ago when it was under different management. It always amazed us that the very small kitchen did a pretty good job of delivering a decent lunch to a good sized crowd. The atmosphere was pretty sad, and needed to be updated though.
