The restaurant was very busy at lunchtime on Saturday. It took a while for our oder to be taken and a long wait for the food to arrive, but what we had was delicious. Great value.

Friendly welcoming staff, pleasant interior and excellent guest ale. Recommended food includes: spiced chickpea and butternut soup, grilled sea bream, rare roast beef baguette. Spotless loos.
