This is a typical diner in appearance. The restaurant area and bathroom (lady's)were clean, prices were reasonable, portions were large, and service was okay. I got the hot wing chicken wrap, others ordered a gyro, chicken Parmesean with spaghetti, and a burger with fries. Everybody...More
Neptune is a typical diner, with plain, good, country cooking. I patronize it, simple because it's been a mainstay in Lancaster for it seems like a hundred years. Good, reliable place to eat.

Expect good food and lots of it. This place is not fancy and looks dirty from the outside. Lots of ware n tare inside too. The service is good , lots of regulars so beware you may be sitting in someone's seat !

The food is ok, average diner fare. Difficult to park if its crowded. The staff is pleasant, and the atmosphere is also just OK.
Had to stop at the Neptune Diner for their famous meatloaf. I had the meatloaf stack with cheese whiz. How great is that. Brown gravy, mash potatoes and cheese whiz. Worth the trip from NYC. Stop by when in town and try the meatloaf stack.
My kids loved the French Toast! Very generous portions. Quick and friendly service. There was a line when we left, but it seemed to be moving quickly.
