My wife and I have been at the Peddlers Village a number of times, but never ate here before. I had the Chive Burger and my wife had something with tuna. Both were very nice, service was quick, and what I really liked, the waitress brought over a bowl of water for our dog, Flash. I thought that was very... More

Think I might have had the best chicken noodle soup ever in this cute little Peddler's Village cafe. At first glance I thought I might have to place my order before sitting but owner Michelle saw my confusion and brought out two menus and guided us to a bright sunny roadside room and table for two. What a delight as... More

The two of us came on a Saturday evening about an hour before closing time. We were intrigued by the only two choices for the dinner menu. We had one of each. One was hanger steak with sauteed spinach mushrooms and scalloped potatoes. The chickens dish was cooked in a marsala sauce with broccoli and egg noodles. The meat was... More

It's not bad but not very good either. Basically it is 3.5 stars, would have rounded to 4 if the service was good, but since it was sort of aggressive and odd, I'm rounding down to 3 stars. The sandwiches are sort of sad, unevenly toasted bread with sparse fillings. The salads are okay, but at least the caesar was... More

Excellent. We live close to Lahaska and why we have never been to the Chive Cafe I don't know and sorry we have missed such a wonderful place. Great menu, homey, we loved the variety on the menu. I had the roast lamb sandwich and my wife had the killer veggie. Both were superb and accompanied with a cold golden... More

I'm an omnivore and my wife is vegan. They put together a great lunch for us by improvising off the existing menu. The service was helpful, friendly, and happy to see that our needs were met.

We went for lunch midweek to this small restaurant with outdoor seating on rt.202 at Peddlers Village.Welcoming staff, selection of interesting menu items.Very good veggie burger and lamb sausage sandwiches.Great option given the lack of decent eateries in the vicinity.Reasonable prices,we will be going back.

If you enjoy a lame greeting when you enter this place and a bunch of grumpy workers you've come to the right spot! Takes forever to get your order and the food isn't worth the wait.

I thought The Shore Fire Grill had great hamburgers but this place was a wee bit better. Lets jus say on a scale from 1 to 10. The Chive's burgers were a 15! Great service busy little cafe with seating inside or out! Enjoy
