The restaurant itself when you sit down it's in a relaxed setting. Not sure if the both times I've been to this restaurant it was a bad night for the wait staff but they are not friendly at all. I'm pretty sure it's family owned and run but I felt like they didn't want to be there. The server slammed... More

Sorrento's is our go-to for delicious Italian food in a relaxed byob. This was one of the first restaurants our son (now 19) went to as an infant, and we have celebrated many family occasions here. I'm a bit of a "find what works and stick with it" person, so I always get the same thing: the chicken Sorrento. My... More

This popular pub has half-price hamburgers depending on the day of the week which were excellent. The menu is quite large but this is what we had and enjoyed. Food: very good to excellent, 4.5/5. Service: 5/5, fast, friendly, and courteous. Atmosphere: Pub with good bar scene, 4.5/5. Price: $-$$. Value: exceptional 5+/5. Would I return? Yes.

Sorrento's has been a fixture for locals in Lafayette Hill for decades. It is the prototypical neighborhood Italian restaurant—delicious basic dishes (pasta, chicken, veal, lasagna) - nothing fancy, nothing trendy - served hot in friendly atmosphere. All entrees come with a choice of salad or pasta on the side. The wait staff is great. The room is small and crowded... More

Visiting from North Augusta SC it was a delight to find decent Italian food which is surely lacking in the south. I had a veal dish, also hard to find below the Mason-Dixon line and it was wonderful. The veal was tender, no need for a knife, and the presentation was similar to what I had seen in Italy while... More

Have to say - was a little concerned when we drove up to the building - doesn't look like much from the outside. We walked in and felt like we were transported to a little Italian restaurant in Italy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The patrons that were there are clearly regulars as they were called out by name... More

Sorrento's has been here forever. The food is good, honest home-cooked Italian fare. No bells and whistles. Just good. Try the roasted peppers. Pasta is served al dente in gigantic portions.

Our son took my wife and me here for my wife's birthday. It is a wonderful local institution. We arrived early for dinner because we knew it filled up quickly on a Friday night. Reservations are taken for five or more only. We were greeted and taken to a comfortable corner table. The tables are nicely spaced apart. The menu... More

We have been enjoying the warm and friendly atmosphere for over ten years. The eggplant parm is unsurpassed. I periodically try the dish at other Italian restaurants, bot none can compare. The service is informal, but after time you get to know the family. Momma is the chief cook, aided by sons and daughter do the service. If you want... More
