The Cafe Wollombi is a small little country café in the sleepy village of Wollombi. Wollombi is an interesting stop in between the back roads from Sydney to The Hunter. You'll find historic shop fronts concentrated in a "downtown" area, some artsy finds from one of the few shops and slow paced locals who are proud of the village they... More

We enjoyed a good coffee and calorie-filled cake here. Lovely business with art on display which is available for purchase. Quite busy for a weekday morning.

Only stopped in for a coffee, and it was certainly a good one. My partner though thought the coffee could have been hotter, it was just right for me. To my surprise he also brought me a chocolate brownie, it was rich and delicious. Lovely balcony to sit and see above and view the historic street. Good service, fast and... More

En route to stay in the Hunter with family, we stumbled upon this cafe at lunchtime in sleepy April. The village has enormous significance in Aboriginal culture; the most surprising thing for us was the range of veggie options on offer in such a small place: freshly prepared & cooked, I'd certainly recommend this cafe & will definitely return!

This friendly, eccletic, rustic cafe' is a must-stop location in Wollombi! We were met by smiling staff who served us promptly and professionally. Just what you want after a long ride through the picturesque country! To compliment our hot drinks we chose meals of the Big Breakfast and Vegetarian Big Breakfast. All the ingredients were fresh, well-prepared, and naturally flavoursome.... More
