This place gets very busy for lunch so be prepared to wait for your food. When we did get our food, I loved my chicken schnitzel but I wasn't so keen on my wife's Roasted Duck Salad. It just wasn't very good.

The Husky has lost most of its charm after rennovations over the years but its still a good option due to good pub food, range of beer on tap and great location.

Beautiful location, views to the beach and lake, friendly staff, great food, would like to see some more basic food choices (traditional pub food) we had chicken schnitzel and chips which my teenage daughter said was the best schnitzel she's ever had. Great atmosphere

Stayed here for three nights and was very happy with my stay. Although the rooms are never a pub, I could not hear the noise in the pub. The rooms are very clean and it was great having to just walk down the stairs for food or drinks. The hotel is right on the beach and very close to everything... More

We've given this venue two chance now and won't be returning. The View and set-up are fantastic, but I personally prefer comfort and good food over the view. For the second time our meals have been over cooked and dry and the accompanying chips have been tasteless and soggy. The ladies taking the food orders seem happy but the staff... More

Food was nice; generous portions. Make sure you book before you head out there specially during school holidays/summer time. We went there on a Tuesday night after a swim.. Was crowded like hell and people queuing up from 6pm until we left..If you have a big group you better not go there unless you have booked a table.. Food waiting... More

Came here for lunch one Wednesday afternoon. It seems this place is always busy, Which gives it great atmosphere! The service was efficient & courteous, we didn't have to wait to be served and the Staff are always smiling & up for a chat! I had the Chicken Burger which was great, the whole menu was impressive actually! Can't wait... More

Be sure to get in early as this place gets really busy in summer. You can order food then try and grab a table on the front overlooking the bay. Wait for the buzzer to go and pick up your food. The evening tend to go off as well. Great fun and friendly place.

My wife, son and I ate at The Huskisson on two occasions and we were very happy with the quality of the food. Being a busy time of the year, we had to wait approx. 1 hour on each occasion to order and receive our food. I suggest reserving a table to avoid disappointment and be patient to order and... More
