Visiting on a Sunday incurs a 10% surcharge. But for this you won't get table service...in fact if you question the service charge, your food will be slammed down on the end of your table...get your own cutlery and sauces if you can find them you cheeky monkey... I'm guessing the Managment must be new as they seem poorly organised... More

Have over the past years visited this cafe many times , driving down from the Gold Coast. Always in the past the cafe has been great, nice food, lovely staff. Not sure if it has changed managment or maybe a new cook...or maybe just a bad day, but definately wasn't the usual great quality enjoyable breakfast..the menu appeared to have... More

The cofee is still the best and the new menu (try the sea farmed Barramundi) is just great! Take a walk towards the lighthouse from main beach and climb the stairs on the right at the end of the beach rather than drive.

Great coffee eggs and salmon. Super range of breakfast goodies in the open whilst watching kookaburras in the trees.

I like the informal ambiance of this cafe which is well located for locals and visitors who do the lighthouse walk. Service is at the counter where food is paid for in advance with food delivered to the table. Take away is also available. Food and drinks are good.

After a long swim/surf at the Pass, it is quite common for my family and I to simply walk up the stairs to the carpark and then to the Pass cafe. Usually we enjoy a yummy takeaway burger, yet this year it felt like the burgers were a bit sparse and not of the level they were the year prior.... More

After a 1 hour walk along the beach from the other end of Byron, my teenage daughter and I happened on The Pass Cafe. Set amongst the sub tropical bush on the headland at Cape Byron it is 1 minute walk up from the beach and at the start of the Cape Byron bush walks. Come by car or walk... More

I think this café deserves more than a pass for breakfast. It has a very tasty menu, and good coffee. However, when you compare it to the other beachside café down the road, I'm giving it one less mark, because one of the more senior waitresses was a bit rude/abrupt and the other place has better views. However, overall I... More

What a great place! There were 11 of us, 6 kids, 5 adults. Brilliant atmosphere, kids well looked after, mostly 20-50 age group seemed to be the biggest chunk of the clientele. Coffee and food was divine, was packed but was a few days after new years, their service was great, casual but fun, kids easy and not a problem,... More

Been coming here for years & always tasty food, casual ambiance, nice & friendly staff, great views of the ocean & surf. Order & pay in advance @ the counter for delicious breakfasts, lunches, snacks, coffee, beer & wine. Small, cozy & indoor/outdoor dining in the rain forest. ENJOY! Aloha & Mahalo, Papa Ouli
