Wow - do yourself a favour and visit Harvest. We firstly were put off by no French champagne- but then realised the whole list is local and indulged in the Arras from Tassie and it didn't disappoint. Food Devine - lamb perfect. Fish perfect.

Only 45 minutes from the Gold Coast, Harvest was a great surprise. We loved the location and atmosphere of the place, with nick-nacks here and there, an unusual menu and a cooking style with light sauces, creative presentation and usage of the freshest produce/ingredients. Delicious. Staff were passionate, knowledgable, friendly and the attention to detail was commendable. The rosé selection... More

My 3 sisters and I had lunch here on a Friday. It was very busy so I would recommend making a booking in advance. Food choices were varied and unusual but delicious. We chose a variety of mains and vegetables to share so we were able to experience many dishes. Service was very good. Wine list expensive. The restaurant also... More

20 minute drive from Byron Bay. Very happy we made the effort. A nice surprise. A couple of old cottages converted into a deli and restaurant. Comfortable and stylish its worth the drive for a relaxing lunch. Interesting menu, not huge but enough variety for the three of us. Good wine list with a variety of prices. And expert coffee... While on the slightly expensive side, the slow cooked lamp shoulder was spectacular, as were the accompanying vegetable dishes. We didn't go too far with the drinks list, but there was an extensive list to choose from.

Took my wife for a birthday treat which happened to fall on mothers day and we were traveling through the Byron region so a bit of a challenge to pull this off. Booked in no problems and very pleasant and efficient staff who confirmed with text prior to event. Harvest uses local produce and beautiful setting up in the hinterland.... More

The food was good, the prices on the high end for lunch. As with a lot of the hyped restaurants in the area I found the menu to be concentrating on being trendy. We found it all a little bit pretentious and the wait staff condescending. The dishes sampled were good, but nothing that we would rave about. Maybe we... More

I must say I was rather displeased about how the host and hostess discriminated against certain walk-ins due to their attire, sitting them on the front porch. Lying about reservations and so on. We saw this first hand. Felt bad for several walk-ins being half-rejected, while others (with no reservation), whom they considered to be aptly dressed where welcomed in.... More

Had SUCH an amazing lunch experience. Staff were wonderful. So friendly and knowledge about the menu and all the different native ingredients. The new menu is divine and I highly recommend everything, but especially the octopus! Can't wait to go back!

My husband and I went to this restaurant for the first time the other night as we had been given a gift voucher for a meal there. It took us nearly an hour to drive there from where we live but so well worth the effort. From entering the restaurant we were greeted with friendly smiles and asked if we... More
