We called in on a saturday evening, and it was pretty busy with most tables booked, but the landlord managed to fit us in. The food was great pub food, not overpriced, and the place is very friendly.

A great little pub in a village that's nearly in the middle of nowhere! Excellent food and good selection of wines and beers. Good service and a nice atmosphere

Good, friendly and accommodating pub. We had a great roast and sea bass, however the dessert was a let down. I had sticky toffee pudding, which was burned and had no toffee.

Very nice meal. Had the roast lamb and sea bass for Easter Sunday lunch. We enjoyed our food out on the elevated beer garden, overlooking the countryside. Parking was a little challenging, but we found a space. To be expected for Easter weekend. Nice place though. Dog friendly.

Had a lovely meal here. The food was excellent. Goats cheese and crayfish starters with a rump steak cooked very well were great and I would recommend this place highly!

Really enjoyed our time at this pub. Made to feel really welcome. Owner took the time to go through the beers with us, lots of tasters and recommendations. If you are passing you MUST stop in here.

Excellent quality food and good variety on menu of hot and cold dishes. Friendly service although parking can be a problem in the height of summer.
