My first visit to a Cornish pub and no disappointment. Brilliant atmosphere made better by locals having a sing song. All staff were friendly and helpful. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there but from what I saw it looked good. Extensive choice of drinks especially rum over a dozen, plenty of beers/lager/cider to choose from. Will... More

Visited on a windy rainy day in October, the pub was full, people and dogs very buzzy atmosphere. We wanted to eat and we were taken to the resteraunt area, shown to our seats and warned about the resident ghost. Nice food, warm welcome and just what we wanted.

Despite the kitchen not yet being open for about 15 minutes a very helpful barmen took my order and found me... More
