Car Park behind shop meant no difficulty parking to visit shop even though on main road. We all had cod, chips and mushy peas. 10 minute drive to house. All food still hot. Fish was beautifully cooked in light, crispy batter: chips were best I've had from a chip shop: mushy peas were still hot and very tasty. My first... More

Many thanks for taking the time to leave such a kind review, most people these days just use trip advisor to voice negativity. We make huge efforts to ensure all our food is high quality and I take great pride in my fish and chips, and its rewarding to hear valued customers enjoy the results. We look forward to seeing... I called in Roche chipshop today the chips were fine but I could not eat them as the lady who served me had an apron on that was once blue and white . was totally black with dirt .while I waited for my chips she was talking to the person frying and the whole time she was digging her ears... More

I remember your visit as I took your order, and im sorry your experience led to such a damming review, obviously trip advisor is a medium open to opinions of all nature, of which all are subjective. The lady who served you was not wearing a dirty apron, as they are washed every day, I agree it did show signs... More

I haven't had this fish and chip shop for years, and me and my family wanted something for tea so decided to try it out here again as we haven't been in years. We ordered large portions as we didn't know what the portion size was like and omg we shouldn't have! The food was delicious and the portions are... More

Best chip shop ive been to in cornwall . OIL is changed every day and all food is cooked from order. You wait a little longer but you know where the time went as soon as you taste the food .

Many thanks for such a kind review, We do go to great lengths to ensure quality is optimised. With a large menu, its not possible to pre cook everything, but we always have sausages (plain and battered) and regular cod readily available during peak times. But we always endeavour to ensure our food is as fresh as possible whilst minimising... More

Top quality fish and chips, served by cheerful, friendly people. My friend and I visit almost weekly and have never had a bad meal. The price is very reasonable and we see the same people most weeks, which again demonstrates the quality of food and service. The shop is quite small but personal and has recently been decorated. A very good... More

Many thanks for taking the time to review us, we do have a lot of regular customers who are greatly valued, whilst our ingredients are always of the highest quality and not cheap, we do bear in mind value for money and try to keep our process the lowest in the area. We look forward to seeing you again soon. More

I have been buying food from these guys for 13 years. Good quality food and good portions the only drawback is service can be slow. Definitely worth a visit.
