Service with a smile, and looked after very well, the lady called Emma and the other ladies(sorry didn't catch names)were very professional and made our night very enjoyable And as for food it was full of different flavours and each item on the plate had been made with love, being in the trade myself dining out can be difficult at... This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to, period. We actually had our wedding breakfast there and it was just the best decision. The food was as good as it always is there..superb flavors, quality of ingredients, portion size, wine, attentive staff, everything. We had an awesome day so my review is tainted by the joy... More

We have visited Austells before on previous holidays and are never disappointed. The food is the best. Beautifully presented and the taste is delicious.

The four of us enjoyed very much our Austell's meal. The welcome was very warm and the food fantastic. I had goats cheese custard, haddock and a wonderful chocolate, cherry and white chocolate desert. Everything was very flavourful. The desert could have been a little more refined. Other than that great meal. The service was not quite there for me.... More

Came here for Sunday lunch with my husband - we both had 2 courses from the set menu and shared a dessert. Overall we both really enjoyed our experience - the food was very tasty, well presented and good value for money (very decent portions!). I thought the strawberry fudge that came with my cup of tea was a nice... More

We've visited Austell's on a few occasions now and each time the food is exceptional, the staff are attentive but discreet. I really recommend you visit if you haven't done so before!

'Good food comes to those that wait'. If you want fast food go to Mc Ds or Frankie and Bennies in town. If you want quality food come here. Brett never disappoints. Food is rich, flavoursome and wherever possible always locally sourced. Every time we come here we come away saying how lucky we are to live so close to... More

Mixed feelings about Austell's. First of all, the service was fantastic, the young waitress that served us was brilliant. A natural when it comes to customer service and couldn't do enough for us. The starter was fab, pork belly croquettes on a pea purée. The main, not good at all. I ordered the pork loin and my wife had the... More

First of all thank you for your review! I'm a little lost about why you didn't know it was a roast menu as we only open bank holiday Monday's for a family roast idea! Plus our staff should've informed you that this was the case! I'm sorry for the confusion! I don't agree with your comment about left over Sunday... More

We visited based on reviews on TA. Both of us ordered the 7 course tasting menu with complementary wines for each dish. Each course was just stunning, a delight to the eyes and the palate. Catherine, our waitress, was attentive, charming and knowledgeable of the dishes, but in no way intrusive. Would recommend you don't leave the area without trying... More
