We had a lovely evening meal at the Mariners when staying on Rock Road at Rachel’s Airbnb. You can dine upstairs, but we decided to eat in the bar and had a delicious mushroom soup and salad to follow (as we’d eaten too much at...More

I see that this place has had mixed reviews, mine will be on the positive side! A fresh John Dory to share as a starter followed by a very tasty rib eye steak for me and a very nicely cooked Hake for my wife. Perfectly...More

Had such a lovely experience here enjoying a leisurely Sunday lunch. The food was great, service friendly and efficient. We enjoyed views over the water and even a little bit of sunshine. Highly recommended.

Visited the Mariners following the Sharp's brewery tasting tour. It is a joint venture between the brewery and a Nathan Outlaw. Good location, good food, good beer. I was a happy man!

I have attached photos of the small a la carte November menu and yesterday's specials board. The welcome and level of service was good but we were rather disappointed on the whole with the cuisine. Our starters (both fishcakes) were lovely but we felt let...More

Hi They're very baby friendly. As Keith C suggests being upstairs will be quieter, though a bit more of a 'bustle' downstairs might be less of an issue for sleeping through...? Hope you have a good time, it's a unique... More
