My husband and I visited the restaurant for Sunday carvery. The food was good but a shame you couldn't help yourself to vegetables as there were servers dishing the veg out. Only one spoonful was offered but I asked for two and did get this...More

As a local I’ve visited so many times over the years. This time I was taken aback by the abrupt and rude member of staff behind the bar. I felt belittled to be honest. Will not be back. It was noticeable that a regular was...More

Popped in on my way home from work with a colleague for a quick drink. When you charge £9.40 for 2 pints of beer it’s appreciated if the member of staff at least gives a smile and/or some indication of actual life behind the bar....More

We go here quite often for a Sunday Carvery especially in Winter. It gets busy but they do manage the volume really well and the food is good quality, quanity and price. Its also in a great location and has free parking.

I love The Old Quay house or The Quay, the service is quick and friendly with a lovely view from the restaurant, the play area in the garden passes lots of time and the food is delicious but not over priced!
