We stopped for lunch on the way to Tintagel and couldn’t fault it. The service was friendly and efficient, the sandwiches had plenty of filling with a nice side salad and coleslaw, and the chips were scummy. Definitely recommend.

Have been here several times, as one of my friends is a vegetarian and gluten free great choice for her and for the rest of us who can eat anything. The place has a homely feel. Definitely would recommend.

Came to the hilltop with high expectations and empty stomachs. We were initially told a 30/40 minute wait for food which, for a small(er) cafe/restaurant can happen during the breakfast period, we were not disheartened to wait for a good quality. With a wait time...More

We can only apologise for the wait you had for your food, unfortunately August Bank holiday is one of the busiest weekends of the year and we were busier than we could have anticipated. Again I can only say sorry and hope you come back...More

You simply have to go here, the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. You get really decent quality food with loads of choice. It has a lovely shop selling lots of local produce, which is always good to see, especially the gin selection!...More

We called in twice on this year's Cornish holiday but were disappointed to find that the cafe closes at 4 p.m., far too early for most people to enjoy a cream tea. We returned on another occasion for lunch, and chose from the printed menu...More

Popped in as we were passing and after lunch. Staff were very helpful and we were just in time for some fresh Cornish pasties straight out the oven and man were they delicious, the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend this little gem.

Our pasties are cooked fresh at least once a day sometimes twice, you where lucky enough to catch the second batch as they came out the oven. So glad you enjoyed them.
