Thank you for your interest, I would be happy to answer any specific questions at the time of making an enquiry for a possible booking, should the information you seek not be given on our website, our number is 01579 384933. For future reference, go to the home page, click on the About Us tab and you will see information regarding access, sustainability, food allergens, awards, charities and privacy policy. To assist you in this request I have included the relevant page from our website. If anyone has any further questions please call. "All facilities are on the ground floor and although there is not a specific wheelchair accessible toilet, this has not proved to be a problem with previous guests. The door clearance is 72 cm and 60cm. It is possible to move throughout the entire restaurant without the need to negotiate any steps. There is adequate space between tables to allow a wheelchair to be placed at the table. The clear height under the tables ranges from 67cm. Langmans is illuminated with a mixture of traditional style light fittings, dimmed lighting and safety fuel table lamps." Hope this helps and prevents the need for any further questions. How do you operate your cancellation charge? Apparently, according to your website, if diners do not keep to their booking, you will charge them the full price of the meal, using their card number taken from them when the booking was made. My understanding of the law has always been that if a reservation is not kept without good reason (illness, transport problems or significant unforeseeable circumstances) then a court would only grant a claim for proveable loss of profit less any benefit from reusing the table. How do you fix the amount. Does it mean that even reliable or untainted customers must order their entire meal in details when booking? Do you operate the American version of seat booking with a fixed price rather like for an unused rail or flight ticket? Do you enforce your draconian rule even where someone calls days in advance with their explanation? We eat out regularly and have found that many businesses that have tried full price cancellation fees have antagonised both customers and the courts or become involved with dispiriting arguments with credit card companies, to the point that they have reverted to a not taking reservations at all. If I call to make a booking for a family of five in a few weeks time, how much will you expect me to pay? What will be the contractual basis for taking my card number?
