We visited the Cobweb for an evening meal. Having booked a table earlier in the day, we were surprised to be seated very close to the bar squeezed on a tiny table with people stood tight around us. We moved to a much better table in the next room, which was fine. My steak pie was tasty and great chips,... More

The Cobweb used to be an old haunt of mine. Not been for several years so decided to have an evening meal there. Not changed much inside except for the food which was expensive for the portions we were given although the quality of the meal was OK. Whilst I have no problem with children being in pubs when they... More

We returned here after a lovely meal in March 2016. Staff were still friendly, service was good and the food came relatively quickly. Fancied a salad so chose the Chicken Caesar which was slightly disappointing. Plenty of meat but set on the top of the salad in huge thick slices that were very difficult to cut and slightly tough. The... More

Quite a family-orientated pub. Very busy when we went. Food was average, chips were a bit old. An average experience.

Rocked into Boscastle to go to the witch museum and needed sustenance so popped in to cobweb inn. Must say I loved it, reminded me of the pubs I frequented growing up before they all started looking the same generic monochrome colour with stainless steel and glass everywhere. Could still see the nicotine stained ceilings everywhere had before the smoking... More

UNfortunately our last night Boscastle holiday. Had eaten Napoleon Inn and Riverside, no complaints at all. great meal at Cobweb, had ribeye with salad and new pots. Hubby had gammon, we always share, great way getting both. Staff great, solid old pub. Thankyou.

Called twice during our stay. Drinking the 1st time and eating the 2nd. Fairly standard pub food but very popular for all ages. Sells local beers which is a plus for me. Not as good as the other eateries in Boscastle, in my opinion!

We liked this pub so much we opted to eat here on each of our 3 meals out during our week. We found the staff to be very friendly. Choices from the menu and specials board were quite extensive and over the weekend the pub was busy, with a decent atmosphere. It was quieter on the weeknight, however I guess... More

If you want high quality Pub Grub...Great portion size and value for money then this is the place to go. We have tables in the bar areas and outside and a family room with books and pictures to colour for the kids. We have a restaurant area where service is by waitress and the menu is as the down stairs but the ambiance differs from the bar areas for those wanting the quality of our food with that extra special service. We have live music on Saturday nights therefore all tables are removed from the main bar area leaving seating in the bottom bar and family area. This is always a busy night so booking for a meal is always necessary. The music starts at 9.30Pm till 12.30Ish and can be view on our web page. We also have many events which are well worth a visit always with great entertainment and always for a deserving cause.
