We visited Le Salon Prive for dinner on our Wedding Anniversary and enjoyed a great meal. I started with the scallops, wonderful; my wife had the souffle, another delight she said. We then shared a Chateaubriand which was cooked to perfection. Couldn't manage a pud,...More

Lovely restaurant and Great value with Travelzoo offer. Although we were told we could sit anywhere, no one showed us to our seat or took our coats. Unfortunately we Had to listen to the waiter complaining to another table about a previous negative trip advisor...More

Despite restaurant being empty we were given the worst seats in the restaurant. The restaurant was empty bar two other couples in the far corners of the restaurant. We asked to move and were told to take our pick. Not a great start, as the...More

We went to Le Salon Prive for the steak special evening on Tuesday the 9th May. Once again we ordered a medium rare Chateau Briand to share as our main course. It was cooked to perfection, so tender & juicy, absolutely delicious. I would highly...More

It was a fantastic value Travelzoo offer that alerted my attention to this wonderful restaurant that I was unfortunately not previously aware of. Can't believe what I have been missing out on. The service, ambiance and crucially the food were all utterly fantastic. The offer...More

We had a lovely dining experience here. Good ambience on a weekday evening with dim lighting and candles, white linen tables and that cutesy décor which is just oh-so-French. We were given complimentary tapas and a basket of bread to start. I ordered the monkfish...More

Like others we took advantage of the Travelzoo offer and had a great meal. We both had the Soupe a L'Oignon and then I had the duck leg confit which was delicious and my husband the steak. As it was lunchtime we had a small...More

An excellent meal in a lovely setting, with attentive staff and a great ambiance. The Duck was delicious and the pear & saffron sorbet especially good.

We used a Travelzoo voucher to have the chateaubriand with Prosecco. This came with pommes frites, bone marrow and a peppercorn sauce, and was absolutely delicious. We finished the meal with desserts from the a la carte menu, home made ice creams for me and...More

Smart casual please.
I'm not quite sure why a review of Brula I posted in 2012 is now being listed as Le Salon Prive. You became Le Salon Prive last year and I haven't eaten there yet, so I have no idea what you're like - new owners, new chef - it could be completely different, Could the Brula reviews remain as Brula until your takeover date?

Hi - yes we're not sure why TripAdvisor keep the old reviews either - we certainly don't need reviews from the previous incarnation. I will raise a support query and ask that anything pre-Le Salon is removed. They don't keep... More
