Four of us met for a catch-up supper and the environment at The White Brasserie was perfect. Our waitresses were knowledgeable, charming and attentive. The food was delicious and the wine was fantastic quality at a very reasonable price. Will definitely return.

Not exactly how I picture a British pub, a bit fancier than the average! A great place to go for a nice meal and diverse menu. More of a nice night out place, than a pub. Great service - delicious food.

Enjoyed the atmosphere here. Buzzy and warm welcome at the door. However the food really wasn’t up to scratch. If you are paying restaurant prices for a roast dinner then the food really needs to be top notch. No real culinary skills required, so the...More

This has become our "go to" place when we want a nice meal for a special occasion. The staff is nice and the food is always impeccable. The menus change on a regular basis, so there is not chance of getting bored with it!

We were very surprised to find ourselves this lunchtime in such a warm and attractive gastropub with a near-fine dining atmosphere. Pub lunches aren't all like this and the food was top notch especially considering we only chose from the excellent value set menu (we...More

Very lovely dinner with great atmosphere. We came in under dressed from the NFL game where the Minnesota Vikings stomped the Cleveland Browns.

Good afternoon, We have a small car park that gets quite busy but most of the surrounding roads are free. Cambridge road and Udney Park road are the closest. We look forward to seeing you next week. Kind Regards, Polly

Description
This is very much a Victorian purpose built pub, but its roots are somewhat older. The original Teddington King's Head dates back to 1689, the time of William III. Maybe it's the history of the building that gives the pub its appeal or it could be Polly and her team who are undeniably charming, attentive and professional that make you want to come back time and time again. Our regulars love us for the informality and cosiness of the King's, we have a large pewter bar, inviting snugs, three separate rooms, open fireplaces and a wonderful walled patio at the back (with our own fruiting grape vine). Our open kitchen shows we are as serious about our food as we are about our ales and our wines - the menu features French brasserie dishes with an English pub twist with everything cooked fresh on the premises.
