I fully recommend this restaurant together with wine tasting. it's family business, and the atmosphere is really great. food was delicious in comparison with other similar restaurant. and the wine was made by heart. :) Nice place to stay, relax. service and staff was great.

Customer visit

Best place to organize trip in Tokaj. Possoble wine tasting in hotel cellar or filmily winery. Able to organize trip for "No" money Michal

Perfect

Zlatá Putňa is restaurant where I always stay for lunch or dinner when I am in this part of Slovakia. Good location with nice surrounding of restaurant. Great choice of food and what is much more important- they are delicious, too. But not just food...but drinks including wine, of course. Staff is friendly so as you can see this restaurant has a lot of advantages due to them I like return there again and again. I can just recommend it :)More

Like eating at home in Tokaj

Visited when I was guiding a small group and this was the last part of our trip. Had halaszle end garlic-pork with potatoes. Nice, rustical style food that comes from the heart. And their wine (same owner as Zlaty Strapec winery) is among the best...in the Slovak part of Tokaj. All in all a nice experience worth visit.More

Wine tasting and dinner

Recommending this family run restaurant and accommodation. We were treated like royalty with an amazing dinner, attentive and very knowledgeable staff - thank you Erik for great evening we learned a lot about Tokaj wines, winery, history and tasted great food. Is gluttony a sin?

Our lazy round bike trip from Mala Trna across Borsa - birthplace of Rakoczi and Vinicky was very nice. Crossing the vineyards and cornfields with red poppies was amazing and amazing was also our lunch in Zlata putna. Our menu was fantastic: Roast goose liver...with toast and fresh vegetables Halászlé zander the classic way, fantastic white bread Zander stew with cottage cheese pasta "Süllőpaprikás" túróscsuszával" Gundel pancakes We shared meals for two persons and inspite of it we eat to bursting :). Bon appetite and do not argue with the chef. He is fantastic as well as the staff.More

excellent restaurant

I tasted the fabulous fish soup and the excellent wine. And also a noodle dish with fish (I don't remember which is the name in Slovakian). Everything was amazing!

Great Opportunity to get to know wines from Slovakian Tokaj

I visited Zlata Putna in April 2015 during the Open Cellars days in Slovakian Tokaj. The restaurant is also proposing accomodation in their pension. Moreover, they also do winetasting sessions in the family owned cellar located in the same village (Vinicky). The staff is nice...and I can only recommend Zlata Putna.More

Wine-tasting on high level

Zlata Putna is a good option to taste Tokaj wines from the Slovakian Tokaj region. Friendly and helpful staff, tasty meals and good music.
