Very nice looking and traditional restaurant. Big parking so there is no problem find place. Location around the restaurant is not so nice but we did not care since the restaurant was clean and nice decorated. Food main dishes were very large and delicious. Starters...and salads on the other hand were small portions. Working stuff was very kind and offered very good service although this is not typical for Slovak restaurants. Only downside is the price of the foods which is rather expensive for such a place. A family of three won't spend less than 60 euros.More

Delicious cuisine; rather big porsions so beware of starters ;-) ... had duck with potato and red cabbage ... seasonal feast meal.

we went for dinner two evenings before the Challenge Championship takes place. they serve delicious plain fare at a very fair price. the furnishings may be not that modern but comfortable and the staff is friendly.

After long way , we were realy hungry and we stared looking for a nice restaurant on our way We found it, it is nice coasy place with realy big option of food and alsow realy teasty

Amazing food at a place where we could hardly find great food. Great ambience homely feel. We had chicken fillet, and chicken in a gravy which taste a little mild spicy but very comforting to the tummy with a little pasta like stuff. Sorry not...sure what they are called but the pics speak a lot. I like their mixed salad. The vienna coffee is good too. I may come here again for another meal. Great menu with a variety of food.More

We are a family of five and stopped at the restaurant on our way to Bratislava for a Saturday lunch. The restaurant was full but the waiter managed to find a table for us. The setting is interesting, with many historic items related to the...region. I'd say it is pleasant but perhaps a bit dated. The selection of meals is amazing. Each of us ordered something different and each of us got really nice meal. Five stars for food from me. The only problem is the service. The waiter didn't seem very friendly and welcoming. We were made feel he'd prefer if we didn't come at all. When I asked for the bill the waiter just asked for my card without telling me how much he was going to charge or showing me the bill. I only got the bill after I made the payment. Did I mentioned I got charged 5 cents for sugar in my coffee? I think last time I was charged for sugar was while the Berlin wall was still up. :-) This is not a cheap restaurant. I dined in better, cheaper restaurants in the area. As we were leaving, there was no one to say goodbye to us - all the staff turned backs to us as they were chatting by the bar. We said "dovidenia" aloud (including our children) but there was no response, no "thank you". That left a bitter aftertaste to it. However, since the food was so good, I reckon we will be coming back in the future (possibly next summer). The mediocre service we got at the csarda seems to be pretty much standard in Slovakia.More
