Written on behalf of my father 59 year old My father asked for two meats pork&turkey. He the went onto to say " that's the smallest amount of meat ive ever had on my plate" The standard was watery somewhat lacking in any flavour... I took my dad and arranged to meet my daughter in law and 2 Children aged 3yr and 8yr old. I didnt realise it was an 'all you can eat' buffet style. TBH can't complain about the food as we were starving and went for the trad carvery, was allowed a piece of each of the roast meats on offer which were pork,gammon ham,turkey and beef - a huge plate all delicious and hit the spot !. always a great roast all the family like going here refill drinks for soft drinks staff always very helpfully small let down meat carved very thin and not big smiling chefs great place

Went went to the rudyard back in May, that experience wasn't very good, roast potatoes were almost dark brown looked like they'd been put back in the oven over and over. I took a picture at the time to do review on Toby carvery site, but it asked for our receipt number and I'd left it on the table in... More

We have been to Rudyard for meals many times and it has been very good but Last night Saturday 29 Oct the meal was very poor it said Restuarant open till 10pm we arrived at 8 30pm in plenty of time the pork was not cut proper very fatty the chef seem to be in a rush veg was dry... More

Great deal for Happy Hour with a good choice of courses at a very good price but don't ask for wine - £22 a bottle!! One waiter is very miserable too.

Food ok staff very nice bar the grumpy carver next time I go if he's on I will go elsewhere he gives you small amount of meat which doesn't bother me but when he gives the person behind you double the amount you think I'm paying the same price same size plate how does he work that one out its... We had a family meal here. The restaurant was very busy and did look a little dirty with food on the floor, but I think this is because it was a busy Saturday. The food was fine and what you would expect from a Toby Carvery. There is not much of a seating area in the pub for people waiting... More

It was very quiet 6.30 Friday 1st aprill. All the food had obviously been standing a long time under heat. Roast potato was rock hard.potato was horrible likewise carrots, Of the meat only the Turkey looked presentable. 4 in our party only 1 cleaned his plate. Other 3 left half finished.
