My wife and I, together with my son and his partner ate at the Roebuck to celebrate a birthday. The food and service was excellent as usual and we had a very enjoyable evening. The choice from the 'Specials' and menu was very good. It...More
The Roebuck is almost on a par with the Black Ladd. Everything about the place is good, including, food, service, ambience and value. It has also had a recent refurb which makes quite a difference to the experience. Try it, you'll like it.

We are ladies who lunch, and on Wednesday 13th December we went for our Christmas Lunch to find there had been a power cut and the bar area was light by candle light, but unperturbed Sue and all her staff served us all a wonderful...More
