1 meat and one vegetarian full English breakfast. Both tasty and served reasonably promptly by polite staff in nice surroundings.

The Polly Tea Rooms, part of Marlborough’s heritage, I do feel the “Bean Counters” have arrived, no sugar tongs, tea bags not leaves, tables squeezed together, tatty sheets of A4 paper used for menus.it’s good but not that good.
Called in today for a light lunch. We both ordered the Cheese on toast and what a disappointment it was ! Luke warm cheese on soggy undercooked toast, not very nice at all. The waitress did offer to get us something else but we didn't...More
The Olde World nature of the building adds to the charm of the place. The cakes are to die for. The service was great and the staff both polite and attentive. All in a great place to have coffee and cakes or a long lunch.

A famous tea-room which can become very busy at times. It is very over-rated. Quaint is over used here. Little room at the tables and the food is not worth waiting for. The prices are astronomical for what they offer.
We visited here for a cup of tea and sandwich as we were passing through the town. All the tables look very smart with white table cloths, but the cloths are too long and the tables too close together..... two people within the space of...More
Short of time and a coffee was required!! An old fashioned sort of place and seemed quite popular, but for all its quaintness seemed to lack some charm and warmth. The service was OK coffee OK.
