Best pretzel and cheese! My wife had the Falalfel and loved it....she doesn't really do spicy but this was different...spicy and tasty. I had a burger on a Caesar Salad with my pretzel...great meal...had a draft hefeweizen...they have a great variety of micro brews.

The craft beer selection is great and they make a variety of beers. The menu is very limited. Good selection of sandwiches. Very limited entree selection. I would recommend for lunch. Worth the trip for the craft beer crowd.

This brew pub offers many different types of beer (unlike other brew pubs that only offer five or six). I had the sampler of their four IPAs on tap and thought they were good. I ate the jerk burger, which tasted great.

My son and I were passing through Danville. I asked three locals for recommendations for dinner. All three immediately said Old Forge Brewing Company. We weren't disappointed. They have inside seating and outside along a quaint little street. The atmosphere is very relaxing. My son...More

Go for the beer it's very good. The food lately is inconsistent. Service has always been slow, but usually friendly. They have changed the menu lately and not always for the best. The Cuban sandwich on our past visit was so salty I could not...More

Not being from the area, we were unsure where to find good food. While staying at the Abigail House, we found this place, which was in close proximity. We were very pleased with the atmosphere and the food. The wait staff was amazing as well!

I've been here many times and the beer is always great. Most recently stopped in for a quick flight and the place was dead for a Friday night. I always think it's strange that they close at 11 on the weekends but our server mentioned...More

This place offers a large beer selection, outside seating during summer and late spring and indoor seating year round. Prices are a bit high for the area. The Ruben is good, although the meat could've more tender. I like their Caesar salad, however for +$8...More

Description
Old Forge Brewing Company is a fun, casual, comfortable brewpub specializing in healthy pub fare and fresh brewed beer. Our country was built on the skills and labor of old-world artisanal craftsmen. Woodworkers, carpenters, stonemasons, ironworkers, blacksmiths, tileworkers, and many others came here and employed the knowledge and skills of their craft in building their farms, homes, and towns.Nowadays, it is so easy and convenient to purchase generic products from big-box stores, that we sometimes neglect to appreciate the uniqueness and quality of a hand-crafted product. At Old Forge Brewing Company, we strive to honor personal craftsmanship. Our hand-crafted beer is made in small batches to ensure quality and peak freshness, while the healthy and delicious menu has ingredients sourced from local farms and markets wherever possible. Take the time to notice our bar, furniture, and fixtures which were all handcrafted by local wood and metal worker Keith Kocher (Lightstreet Custom Woodworking). Check out our unique tap handles carved and forged by local artist/sculptor J. Mark Irwin (Irwin Sculpture Studio), and our plates, bowls, and beer mugs, all hand-made by local potter Mike Hart (M. Hart Pottery). We welcome you to stop by and visit us on Mill Street in downtown Danville. Have a bite to eat, sip a fresh pint of beer, and enjoy the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Leave your troubles on the doorstep and let us take care of the rest.
