Don't expect a four star experience... but the food is consistently good. Not great for ambience, but you will get a good meal and good service. Need comfort food? Head to mr e's.

Love me some beer and a half a reuben! Great specials at a reasonable price. Close to home so all good for me.

Always enjoy the bartender and the locals that stop in. I also enjoy the lunch specials and appetizers. Cheers!

Mr. E's Tavern was a great find. I'm sure it's been there for years but I never noticed. There aren't many choices nearby, so finding this place with good food and friendly helpful service is a treat. Don't pass it by.

This was our first visit ever to this establishment. We went Saturday evening and arrived at 6pm. After being seated for 10 minutes and receiving zero knowledge of our existence, I asked the hostess if we would be seeing a server soon. She said we would shortly and gave us some cheese and crackers to choke on for awhile. We... More

We ate at Mr. E's on a Saturday afternoon. The food was alright - not great, not bad. The prices were fair; and the service (Ashlee) was very good. I would eat here again; but I would not go out of my way to do so.

Staying at the Coatesville Exton Marriott just outside of Philly I found Mister E's bar and restaurant to be an adequate place just around the corner to have a glass of wine and basic dinner. New York strip was not memorable but after a hard day's work smothered in onions and mushrooms it hit the spot. Also their crab cakes... More

Our whole family had dinner here late on a Saturday evening as we came into town. Two in our party ordered crab cakes and said they were very good! Overall, i'd say the food was average to good and atmosphere the same.

I've visited Mr. E's numerous times and the food is always very good. I've been to two events that were catered by them (one was my engagement party) and the service and food was great. The crabby fries are a must! I'm from Philadelphia and grew up eating Chickie's and Pete's crab fries but these top them! Wings are always... More
