Decent food and drink prices, especially during happy hour. Knowledgeable bartenders. Huge menu; something for everyone. Smoking side is closed off from non-smoking section.

We enjoyed a light supper here recently. Great homemade soup and a delicious antipasto wrap. Fast and friendly service.

We went after dinner hour. Pretty much only could get appetizers. Sandwiches and salads. Salads come from a bag. I ordered the Cobb salad my wife ordered the Greek salad. When they came they looked identical we weren't sure who's was whose. Mixed drinks are kind of small but the beer is really cold. All in all it was still... More

We stopped there for lunch last Wed. and I had the Cobb salad and my husband had the Reuben. All was a generous size, so we took half home. Waitress was very pleasant and the "Old World" Atmosphere was neat! We parked a block away and walked. So many interesting things to see there. Will go again...

This is really a Carlisle staple and is tucked away just off the 'beaten' path near the courthouse. Parking is a bit rough but the borough parking garage can accommodate. The restaurant is 'split' into a smoking side and a non-smoking side...kinda! The air mingles w/ light smoke no matter which side you dine on. But, if you stroll in... More

Arrived there at 10pm on a rainyTuesday night. The hotel next door had already closed their restaurant. They were in the process of putting the chairs on the table when we walked in. I asked if the kitchen was still open and they said yes, but we would have to eat at the bar. My son was not of age... More

Their philly cheesesteaks are great and the atmosphere is awesome as well. The building is really old and is an excellent setting for any meal.

I was staying in Carlisle overnight, and a local person recommended the Gingerbread Man as a place to eat. Marvelous. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The pleasant surprise was of course the little gingerbread man! The place was very busy. An indicator of it's popularity. If I were ever to be in the area... More

Good "bar food" served with little gingerbread man cookies. Really good service as we were part of a large group. We ate inside but they also had outdoor seating. Just an all around nice place whether for drinks or food.

We had a delicious dinner here. The restaurant was packed due to the "Corvettes at Carlisle" weekend event, but our server handled everything with ease. There are lots of choices on the menu and very reasonable prices. We have eaten here many, many times and have not been disappointed.

Thank Hannah M
