Stopped by for a beer & nachos (small nacho platter) after snowshoeing. Life is great! Although the fried chicken another table ordered looked & smelled wonderful!

New sign! Looks great!

Stopped by again, noticed the new outdoor sign along Highway 26, very cool. Enjoyed the fried chicken!

Very good SLOW food.

Visited for lunch and had a couple of drafts, a Medley Burger and a Cobb Salad with chicken. The burger was oozing blue cheese and awesome. The salad was good but closer to average. Very slow food even though they were near empty. Almost half...an hour from order to food. Nice waitress. Slow kitchen.More

Great food!

We are at the Shack on two separate occasions when staying at Mt. Hood Resort. We really enjoyed our first visit and our food and service was top notch. The 2nd visit was okay but they were busier that evening due to the basketball game...and the service was lacking. We would definitely recommend this place for the food and atmosphere.More

Next level burgers!

Very cool and unique ambiance. Excellent service. Sam was very kind and helpful. Cardiac burger with onion rings and mozarella sticks inside was insanely good. One of the best’s I eat ever. We enjoy the playing pool table. An excellent experience in overall. I highly...recommend this place.More

Chance encounter renders great lunch

Driving home from vacation in Canada and Washington, we got hungry for lunch, and had promised ourselves we would NOT eat at chain restaurants. Then there appeared The Shack. This is a deceptively small place from the outside. Inside it's enormous with rooms and alcoves...for watching whatever sport you like. When we were there it was two golf matches, but there was a lone guest enjoying soccer in another room. We had good old burgers, and the Shack's were excellent. Our server was delightful. Of course, even though I asked her name, I have since forgotten it. Sorry.More

Great food at good prices

Stopped here late at night upon arrival and the waitress was kind enough to have the kitchen quickly make us a meal. The food was really good and service was great. Prices were really great - so much food we could/should have split every meal.

Anniversary

The dining room was clean. Has TVs to watch your favorite college or NFL team. I had the steak and shrimp. The steak was very tasty a little chewy but it was good. The shrimp were tasty also. My wife had a hamburger and she...said it was good. The atmosphere was like a sports bar. It had a few locals in it but it was fun. The service was lacking. I would definitely go back. Thank you for the good food.More
