The owner seems nice. Not sure why his staff isn't the same. Rounding up from 2.5 stars because it is half as good as it could be.

Stopped in for lunch, good variety on the menu. Both of us ordered burgers, mine was a cheeseburger, other half ordered the mushroom swiss. Great flavor, served with fries, more than either of us could eat. Friendly waitress, restaurant was clean, would dine again if...in the area.More
We enjoyed a 2 egg with hash browns, link sausage and sourdough toast all for $9.00. Good service, friendly atmosphere and fast food.
This is comfort food. I had fried chicken and my husband had prime rib. Both were delicious, but a bit too much. They don't skimp on the side dishes either, lots of vegetables and potatoes. It appears that a lot of locals hang out here...visiting with the friendly staff members. It's a nice relaxed atmosphere.More
The food is great, the bar has everything, but the live musicakes this bar king of the hill! Every time I've been here I've had an amazing time!
Was there over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time! Food was wonderful with fun friendly staff. There was a band on this night which played great music keeping everyone in great mood. Give Whistle Stop Bar & Grill a visit in the Mt....Hood area.More
Hit or Miss kind of place. Have gone on mornings when it's been great all around; food, service, the works. Other times it's the COMPLETE opposite, every order at our table was messed up and the servers even argued with us about it, long wait...and bad food. Proceed with caution and don't expect consistency.More
