We stopped in for lunch on our way to a bicycling outing on the trail between Vernonia and Banks. We were greeted warmly and our order taken readily. We chose to sit outdoors as the weather was still nice. Our meal and beverages were delicious. We choose the gyro platter, and a Greek salad with refreshments of mint tea and... More

Love to have lunch here when bicycling nearby. Great, smoky baba ganouche and desserts are good too. Everything house-made. Once, their young daughter was practicing her belly dancing. Bonus! Also, you can park your bike inside!

Tasty food, interesting lemonades, and good craft beers. Fast and efficient service. We ate there two nights in a row. Good nutritious food!

We ride the Banks/Vernonia Bike trail often and we look forward to lunch in Vernonia as a break. There are basically two good cafes and this is one of them. The menu is full of mediterranean items. I had a chicken gyro and my husband had the veggie gyro on this last visit. Both were very generous portions and delicious.... More

A group of six stopped here for lunch at the mid-point of a long bike ride on the Banks - Vernonia Trail. There's an indoor bike rack! The food was fresh and fantastic - good cous cous, hummus and baba ganoush. And delicious baklava and espresso to power the ride back to Banks. Definitely worth the visit.

Very friendly staff and good menus to choose from. This restaurant serves great Mediterranean food which is a good variety to the traditional US food.

Love this place. Try everything. Don't expect fast service. The red pepper dip keeps me coming back and everything else is a bonus. They will give you cucumbers instead of pita if you don't want the bread. They know what soups have gluten or not as well as the meat dishes.

My wife and I went hiking recently at Camp Wilkerson near St. Helens and were quite hungry when we'd finished, so I had remembered passing through downtown Vernonia and seeing the Blue House Cafe, so back we went for lunch. What we found was a family-run restaurant that made some of the best Middle-Eastern food we had eaten in a... More
