This is a must visit restaurant in Seaside. Right on Broadway in the middle of town. Good service, good food.

Dooger's is like a bad Denny's. Everything is passable, but nothing is very memorable. We go here when entertaining old people who like bland, "ordinary food". Careful if you go during happy hour, as you may be trampled by slow moving hordes of walkers and canes.

A popular local Friday night eatery evidenced by the 15 minute wait for a table. Good news for out of town visitors because the locals eat early, so hold off eating until after 7pm and you won't have a wait. Good fresh seafood but the only Scotch they pour is Johnny Walker Red.

The meal we ordered came right away. The food was hot–almost too hot to eat–and delicious. We plan to stop in for clam chowder again when we are in Seaside.

Dooger's is a go-to place for excellent food in Seaside. We always seem to eat here at least once per trip. Just right for a business lunch or family meal.

I've been coming here for years! Hands down its the best clam chowder I've ever had! (Unless you like your clam chowder really thick then go moes) We get the quick lunch, toast is awesome and ranch dressing is clearly homemade and so yummy! Try their peanut butter pie for dessert!! Enjoy

The food was pretty good, great selection of seafood, it very noisy (to be expected at prime time dinner hour I guess), service was slow, we did not feel appreciated as a customer here. We would eat here again if it was the only place open.

I have eaten here multiple times in my trips to Seaside and their food hasn't disappointed. My wife is gluten free (celiac) and they can accommodate her requirements.

So all we wanted was to split the best bowl of chowder we could find and that took us to Doogers. We had not been there in years and the chowder was even better than we remembered it. Lots of clams, some whole along with diced potato in a super, not too thick base. It was perfect and the favors... More
