Fun place to go with family. So much history for the Logging industry. Great food. The place is a wooden palace

Camp 18 offers great food, history, rustic charm, scenery and great parking! It makes for a wonderful stop on the way from Cannon Beach (we didn't eat at the cute restaurants there). Food was fresh (clam chowder was great). The standout however is dessert (reason why we just had soup). Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler alamode and the Marionberry cobbler. Plenty for... More

First if like to say we loved dining here for the ambiance. It was definitely a beautiful, rustic, cabiny, mountain type place that was just perfect after a long day of travel. I wasn't very impressed with the food and actually for the first time didn't finish my meal. But the outside was beautiful as were all the props outside... More

While visiting Vernonia, Oregon, it was suggested we make the drive towards Seaside to eat at Camp 18, an old logging camp turned into a restaurant. We are so glad we did! The gift shop was closed during our visit but we had a lovely dinner in the amazing log building. The history and logging decor was so interesting. We... More

We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from Seaside. It's about 20 min East of Seaside. Lots of parking. Nice picnic area outside and walkway down to the river out back. The cinnamon roll was HUGE served on a dinner plate and filled most of it. It was good food.

This place is absolutely awesome! Camp 18 was my grandpa's favourite so we had tho try it out too. We'll make it out tradition tho have breakfast here every time we head home from the beach. The food is so good, huge portions! We sat upstairs in the bar area and our waitress was super friendly and welcoming.

Came here several times but it had been many, many years when we stopped this past weekend. We were out on a day trip to the Coast and stopped here on the way home. Huge portions. Took cinnamon rolls home because we couldn't fit dessert after our meal. Great service. Fun atmosphere, lots to look at!

I have been hearing great things about this place from friends and coworkers since I moved to the area 2 years ago. My wife and I, along with some friends, came for the Easter Brunch special. Was not impressed. THe brunch offered dinner, as well as breakfast items. The eggs were scrambled and looked like they were poured into a... More

So we decided we wanted to go check out the elk herd at Jewell Meadows Wildlife Area. Glad we did, as we caught sight of a very rare albino elk (photo attached). We passed this big logging camp and saw that it was a restaurant. We decided we would stop on the way back from our elk viewing. We arrived... More

The people who work at camp 18 were very friendly and the food was enough for a lumber jack. Take the time to walk around the room and read everything on the walls. They tell the story of the local lumbermen. There is also a warm fire place to sit around and share a drink. If your heading to the... More
