Very surprised at how each item on my breakfast plate was below par. The pancake was dry and tough around the edges. Ham was dried out and without freshness and moisture was tough to cut and eat. The hashbrowns (cubed potatoes) were warmed. There was not browning to them as the picture shows in the tripadvisor site. When we first... More

If you're travelling down the 26 to the beach, you really have to stop at Camp 18. The restaurant itself is a wonder; so beautifully made and with the largest log beam support you've ever seen. They also decorate it beautifully, especially at Christmas, but any time is fun with the log carvings and woodsy themed art. Also, a beautiful... More

The atmosphere is worth a trip and the food is good. Service was good. If you have time to go thru the museum and walk around all the historical items outside it is really interesting.

We never miss stopping at camp 18 for at least a bowl of clam chowder in route to the Oregon coast. It's tradition not to mention the best chowder on the coast without a doubt. We have been regular customers for over 20 years. The food is freshly made and many items are made from scratch each day. We have never... More

Headed to the beach stopped for lunch at this historic spot. Beautiful wood carvings and tables. Food was good but service is not. People are friendly but not focused in providing service. Waiting a long time to get seated even though they were not busy. Lunch took over an hour. Glad I stopped but wont be back.

On our way to Seaside, we stopped at Camp 18 and were seated at a table that overlooked the sunny backyard and wild birds feeding on the deck. The menu for lunch had stars by the recommended selections, so I chose a thin sliced beef sandwich with melted cheese and a cup of au jus. It was delicious! My husband... More

Overall - decent/great. Our hostess, didnt say one word and was rude to us. Our waitress was pleasant, but barely came by. Chicken strips were good. Fries are great. Atmosphere is beautiful. The little shop connected to it on the outside, absolutely rediculous, WAY TO EXPENSIVE. nothing worth half its price, with an unfriendly shop keeper.

Thank Katie V
