Nice place. We ate in the bar/lounge area because we didn't see the restaurant side, but it was a nice atmosphere and the food was great. They had a salad bar with a great selection (you have to try the sauerkraut). My husband had a steak and it was cooked great. Would definitely go back if in town.

This place is ok. Its not what i expected though. They have steak and ribs, but it really not worth the drive. If you going to Pendleton from Portland it would a ok spot though.

Dinner and breakfast with fellow fishermen, both in the bar and in the dining room. Good basic "comfort food" with ample servings. We were able to find vegetarian dinner options, and the salad bar has lots of choices. Breakfast servings are huge, and the lunch they packed for us was yummy. Excellent, friendly service for both meals.

It's somewhat rustic,I'm sure it's seen better days. There are pictures everywhere that you can buy marked down. Why? The building is quite old so don't plan on wearing your fancy clothes. The waitress was super nice .I had the hot turkey sandwich which was good. The rolls are homemade and yummy. The boys had steaks. They said they were good. They are... More

Really nice salad bar(wish bag lettuce would just go away though) and all the right stuff along with a daily soup offering. We stopped by to have dinner and the bar has enough TV's to see the game from anywhere in the room. Prime Rib was really well prepared and the daily specials are nicely varied. Friday fish & chips... I love a good dive bar! That being said - stick w/the burger! I tried to go "gourmet" & ordered the Traeger chicken (bad choice) it was dry, chewy & flavorless. The folks that worked there were very nice & the salad bar was ok...

This is a really good place for dinner . The staff was very friendly and the food was yummy! They have really generous portions. We had to take part of ours back to the motel.

Rufus is not a big village and eating spots are limited. We were spending a night at the Hillview Motel last week and Bob's was recommended. Sampled supper and breakfast before heading back home to Portland. Food excellent on both occasions, served promptly by pleasant and knowledgeable staff. If you are looking for fine dining, Bob's is not the place... More

My husband was starving so we ate at the only place in Rufus that was still open, as that's the next town we came to. It's pretty long in the tooth as far as decor. The waitress was he only one there and she was trying her best. I got fish & chips and my husband had the salad bar... More
