In the past, we had enjoyed Burrito Vaquero. We will never be going back, after this most recent visit. We placed our order by phone (chicken fajitas, queso, and chips and salsa). I was asked what size salsa I wanted and chose the larger ($5)...option. My husband drove to pick up the food and the salsa was altogether forgotten. He went back to get it, and the lady at the drive-thru acted like he was crazy. He arrived home with a container with about a half cup in it. In the past it had been a huge container. We wouldn’t have bothered going back for the one we got tonight. We wasted time and gas for something we paid for and they forgot. On to the food: it was awful. The fajitas were full of vegetables that were cut too large, and I asked for flour tortillas and got corn. The chips tasted like they’d been sprayed with some sort of cleaner. They had a distinctly “perfumey” flavor and were absolutely inedible. The queso was a blob of congealed ?cheese? that was incredibly salty and unappetizing. Like I said, this was an awful experience and we will not be going back.More

We were recently in Roseburg and we’re looking for a really good Mexican restaurant... We were told that this was the best Mexican restaurant in Roseburg… Huh? If that is indeed the case I pity the poor people that are living in Roseburg and have...this restaurant as their best option for Mexican Food in Roseburg! The service was awful the margaritas were the worst margaritas I’ve ever had in my life and the food was very mediocre! To make things worse it was completely overpriced!!! Needless to say we will never be returning to this place...0 stars 👎More

If you're hungry get the grande burrito. I'm going to go back and enjoy some smaller servings but the big burrito was impressive and priced well. In this day with masks everywhere I miss human interaction. The servers were very friendly and initiated fun conversation...with me. It was hot (for Oregon) and it was pretty warm inside. I sat outside. I chatted with some locals who all said they wished the place was bigger. I wish they had the standard Dos Equis in the half gallon like many Mexican restaurants. I guess it can be difficult to eat here in good weather. Good place. I'll go back while I'm here.More

One of the many hard things about self-isolation is not being able to dine at Burrito Vaquero and enjoy their excellent food & delicious margaritas. However, they do have a drive-thru! Today we enjoyed EXCELLENT breakfast burritos - something I've been craving since moving to...Oregon from Southern California at the first of the year. My folks got chorizo breakfast burritos & were VERY satisfied - said that the chorizo was excellent! I got a carnitas breakfast burrito & it was TERRIFIC! BV does not skimp on their meat, & the burrito was so filling I had to save about a third of it to enjoy later! I HIGHLY recommend this EXCELLENT restaurant, & encourage locals to support it during these difficult times!More

I was pleasantly surprised by this little place. From the outside, it looks like a rather unassuming place but it was delicious! The prices are fair, too. They even have handmade tortillas, made on site.

Homemade tamales, pork, excellent. Very filling and the chili sauce that tops the tamale is perfect.

Agree with the others who answered here. Not much parking but all the times I've been there I think we've only had to park down the block once.

They serve liquor, beer and wine. The liquor selection is large enough to make the traditional cocktails one would expect at a Mexican restaurant.
