On the way and a good mid point to grab a bite right before or after you go over the mountains. Nothing fancy. Average service. Not too friendly, but the eats are ok

Everything about this restaurant was so uninviting. We could hear a woman in the kitchen shouting at someone in a bad way, the windows were dirty, carpet stained, the table we were seated at was sticky and the food on the plates of the people...across from us looked awful. We’re typically not picky, but this time we left without ordering. Suggest you drive right on by and eat somewhere else.More

Service was OK. Place had a musty smell to it, dirty, water glasses was dirty, food portions were small for the price, food was not cooked thoroughly. Had a $6.00 dollar huckleberry milkshake. Ice cream with a very small scoop of huckleberry's. Did not taste...like a huckleberry shake. Wife got sick later on our trip home.More

I came here with family and had a lovely meal of halibut and chips, really freshly cooked and nicely presented. I also has a Huckleberry Shake which was superb. Have had a burger there before and that too was really good. I like the decor...here and the owner sells small pieces of craft work made by local people.More

First there was no ice in the water. My daughter and I ordered two soft drinks that the waitress poured out of warm cans with about a tablespoon of ice per glass. There is absolutely nothing good to say about the food. The ketchup was...watered down in used dirty bottles. The waitress used the bathroom and did not wash her hands. She proceeded to sit down with a laptop and eat a meal of her own at the same time there were other customers in the establishment as well. She was the only waitress in the restaurant. Poor service.I could go on but I think I have said enough.HORRIBLE.More

As soon as you walk in, you're hit with a very musty old smell. This is probably the worst food I've had in a restaurant. The best part were the pancakes, sourdough bread and orange juice. The steak breakfast was poor. The steak was over...cooked and about 1/3 was gristle, hash browns were incredibly soft, not crispy and we're pretty sure the one scrambled egg I had wasn't 100% cooked. The potato entrees were very soft, no crunch at all. There were unknown particles in all of our water glasses and the coffee was subpar.More

Eat here often. German dinners are also an excellent choice. Every thing is fresh and from scratch .

We could have just caught the chef on a bad day. She was quite short with us and said she was plating food and turned and walked away. Yes, the fireplace is nice and they do have a bar. But without good people skills, it's...just not "all that". Besides, everything, in my view was over priced. It is location, location, location. Easy on and off the highway. Too bad, we just drive to The Zig Zag for breakfast-More

Owner and chef Bridget does it all. Steaks, Pasta and German dishes are her specialty. My favorite for lunch is the Ruben sandwich. Schnitzel for dinner is the best choice. Everything on the menu for breakfast is good and filling.
