Had a fantastic breakfast in a fabulous location. Food was served fast and was delicious and at a reasonable price. Waitress was efficient, friendly and cheerful with a beautiful smile. Nothing was too hard for her with all the customers that she served. Would go back again when ever in Portland. .

Left with good vibes! I went on a spontaneous solo trip to Portland and wandered into this happening place for a beer. They had great bands playing with an awesome crowd. Yes, you should absolutely add this to your places to go list for Portland.

Had dinner and breakfast here. Good food and service at a reasonable rate. Dinner was a bit of a wait but not too bad.

Solidly enjoyable food, good selection of brews and a wide range of bar drinks - add to it a dark lit environs with cool buildout and bar area- now you have a classic Portland bar scene great to visit with friends or couples. If one gets the chance, the music venue (downstairs) has some great artists on the venue and... More

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Doug Fir. My husband had the Peruvian Scramble, with eggs, cheese, tortilla chips mixed in. I had their terrific French Toast, with homemade champagne fruit sauce with fresh nectarine chunks. Very good. We will return. (the music was a bit loud for a morning meal, but it's a "hipster" spot and we're "oldsters" so... More

I came to see a show at the Doug Fir, it was my first time. We had dinner before attending the show in the basement. The service was subpar (they seemed annoyed when asked for ice water), but the food was to die for. Absolutely, full of flavor, local and fresh. I want to come back and eat there everytime... More

Located on the property of the Jupiter Hotel, great bar and restaurant. Opens at 7 for breakfast which is served till three. Two eggs, bacon or sausage or ham and potatoes and toast is 11.00, a good deal.

I thought this place was great. It scored very high on the cool factor for me. They have a great outdoor patio. The inside is way cool and they even have a very slick live music set up. We enjoyed the food and our drinks. I'm s burger guy so I went with the "Fir burger" and it did not... More

We enjoyed breakfast at the Doug Fir while staying next door at the Jupiter Hotel. They served THE BEST coffee around. When I inquired, I learned that the beans are from Sisters, Oregon. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when we let them know a third person would be joining us. And the food? Breakfast was delicious.... More
