Met another couple at Meriwether's for brunch. Weather cooperated so we experienced delightful ambiance outside on their covered patio. Gardens are inviting as was the water fountain in the center. And our omelets were scrumptious. Definitely a 'winner' for quiet brunch with friends.

I have mixed feelings about today's brunch. The food was good, not great, but good. The service was really good. I also agree with a set gratuity on a really busy day @ 20% is fair but the service charge and a min wage charge really? I have no idea why this was set up this way? Just charge more... More

We had breakfast. This is a VERY expensive restaurant. But it is also very good. A rare treat for us to splurge this way. She had huevos rancheros $17.00. A different take on the dish put works well. I had the roasted fruit waffle with real maple syrup. Mostly apples with 2 cherries $15.00. Pretty pedestrian and won't get again.... More

Had cocktails and dinner here with a large business group and the food was quite good. We were outside on the patio. Service was a bit slow but very friendly staff. Heaters made the space comfortable even though it was chilly weather.

I think paying $5 dollars for 8 oz fresh orange juice is too much. $9 for French fries with hollandaise sauce (my teenage daughter couldn't believe the price) was ridiculous. The 1 pc chicken and 4 little square waffles for $21 was a lot. Overall, good food but way overpriced for a farm to table approach.

This place is an original. They operate a 5-acre vegetable farm just 20 minutes from the restaurant. So, everything is fresh and some of the vegetables, I had never eaten or heard of. It was lunch and we were not very hungry so we ordered salads with Dungeness crab. I had the Caesar salad with crab and dressing on the... More

Been to Meriwether's a number of times and usually have a good experience, however the wheels came off today, Easter Sunday of all days! Arrived a couple minutes early and was told we would be seated in 20 minutes, so my wife and I took a walk around the block leaving our two teenage daughters behind in case they were... More

We ate here with friends, for a dual birthday. The food was fine, but very expensive, and the portions were tiny. Spent $250, and was still hungry afterward.

This was the best farm to table restaurant I've ever been to. They have there own garden they cook everything from. It's in a hitorcal neighborhood of Portland from the time of meriwether Lewis from Lewis and Clark exposition. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was easy going but very professional. We went to the brunch and loved everything... More

We dined here for a late lunch today and enjoyed our dishes however as other reviewers have mentioned it was quite overpriced for what was received. Service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. The minimum wage surcharge tacked onto the bill at the end was poor form and tells me the owners object to paying their employees a living wage... More
