First time at a Salty's! We were here for dinner recently. Must be a lovely view during the day, a bit of that was lost in the night even though we were seated at a window. The food was great - whether it was the crab bisque, the seafood chowder or the pacific cod. Service was very pleasant and prompt.... More
Wow!!!! The seafood was fresh and cooked up to perfection. Although my favorite part was the vegetables! The oysters were on point! Love love love!!!!! My steelhead was blackened, not Cajun style like I'm used to, but man oh man can I get seconds! My wife hates seafood and destroyed the fish and chips!!!! Get off the plane and make... More
First time visit to Salty's on the Columbia River, beautiful location and view of the river, very friendly greetings, promptly seated and served our meals. Great pricing, clean and well managed. When in the area I will come here again
Had dinner here for the Christmas holidays. Excellent view and ambience. Food is average. The service this evening was real slow--perhaps because of a staff shortage.
I have eaten at both Seattle locations and been happy with the food, the service and the ambiance. So when we moved to Vancouver WA, I was excited to see a Salty's on the river close to our house. The food was good. The service was unacceptable. When we entered the section, we were the only people there. Our drink... More
This restaurant is about 2.5 miles from Portland airport and right on the Columbia River. We enjoyed the view, even if it was October. Great place to get in the Oregon mood. The food was excellent, especially the clams and the Brussels sprouts. The waiter was attentive and helpful on recommendations.
We visited on a special occasion Salty's looking for excellent seafood, a nice sunset waterfront view and attentive service. While the food was prepared well, we were jammed into a really loud corner crammed between other patrons on 2 sides at a window seat that was stifling in the summer heat. As set sun went down the heat just kept... More
Once or twice a year you need to treat yourself to Sunday brunch at Salty's. The brunch menu is served buffet style with made to order omelets and the selections seem endless with lots of seafood selections. Pace yourself and enjoy the view of the Columbia River. Reservations are definitely recommended even on what you may think to be the... More
I was fortunate to visit Saltys restaurant as part of his business meeting. Our group had 20 people. We had drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert. I rate all of them 5 plus! The entire experience made the trip a highlight of my visit to Portland.

Do you still serve bouillabaisse at dinner? It's probably the best I've ever had and I want my husband to try it when we're in Portland later this month.
