We ate here twice in three days. It was just that good. Had both a dinner and a lunch, and both times left very happy. Food was very good, service was outstanding. Wonderful clams. Absolutely worth going here.

Eating seafood in Portland may seem like taking coal to Newcastle for a Floridian, but this place was so good we dined here 2/4 nights while in Portland. The raw oyster options were many, including the samplers I ordered. The menu has some unique presentations...More

We have dined at Southpark several times. It is a comfortable space with moderate noise levels. We enjoyed the oysters, the smoked mushroom toast and the salmon tartare. We found the Dungeness crab salad to be very bland and without sufficient dressing. That dish could...More

We were there for happy hour after the Saturday matinee Michael Allen Harrison Christmas Concert. Snuck in on busy Friday night having been recommended here by a local bartender for having great seafood. Other than the fresh hot bread it was nothing special. Clam chowder watery, halibut bites more mash potato than fish. Scallops and steamed clams just okay. Service...More

My wife and I had dinner there last week. The overall experience was as good as it gets. The clam chowder was full of real, fresh clams still in the shell. The salad was cold and crisp. The salmon was pricey but outstanding.

The third time was as good as the first and second. They are consistently great - in service, food quality, and ambience. And it is an experience I look forward to repeating again - and again.

Great selections of appetizers and drinks. Bar area was quiet enough that I could conduct business. However, many of the guests were visitors of Portland and were just enjoying some quiet times.

We were there in the summer for lunch. For lunch, it was quite informal. People were casually but nicely dressed. I don't think that jackets are necessary except for providing warmth!
