David Machado started this place a number of years ago and so it's not as new as his Nel Centro nor as hip as his Altabira restaurants. But it's super convenient and the man who runs it has a 100% success rate with high caliber...More

I came for dinner and was attracted by the raw oysters - which they abundantly had. After that, I had some excellent halibut and some good glasses of wine. The only caveat is it's relatively high price.

We spent a very happy ‘happy hour’ at Southpark. The oysters on the half shell were excellent (especially the Tillamook) and the spicy shrimp and grits were really good too.

We ate here twice in three days. It was just that good. Had both a dinner and a lunch, and both times left very happy. Food was very good, service was outstanding. Wonderful clams. Absolutely worth going here.

We were there in the summer for lunch. For lunch, it was quite informal. People were casually but nicely dressed. I don't think that jackets are necessary except for providing warmth!
