Heading to Southpark Seafood happy hour became a habit for my wife and I during our trip to Portland in February. The oysters and steamed clams were amazing. The staff does a good job as well helping us with finding other gems on the menu like the Beet salad also a happy hour $5 star.

My wife and I went to Southpark Seafood for dinner as part of our valentine's weekend. We arrived there in time for happy hour, but had a regular non happy hour dinner. But I noticed during happy hour while waiting for our table, that they have oysters from about 10 different locations in Oregon and Washington. Quite interesting if you... More

The food was amazing. Local seafood and a changing menu makes this place a nice regular stop. You never know what will be served next. We enjoyed the beet salad (split it), grilled octopus, steamer clams, and the chocolate board for dessert. The dessert was a must for anyone visiting. The location to the Schnitzer Concert hall made this a... More

While visiting Portland and the local museum downtown we stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch. We thought the menu selections were good. My husband especially enjoyed their clam chowder and I thought the fish tacos were excellent. We found the service good and the prices reasonable for lunch. If we lived locally, we would certainly visit again.

We haven't been here in years, but the quality of food and service has not changed. We were able to get an early reservation, (they have happy hour every day from 3-6 pm or 10-12 pm, (glass of wine for $5.00). You can find parking on the street, were you can pay meter parking for 3, 2 or an hour... More

Good seafood. New menu changed to small plates and is a little confusing. Shrimp & Grits was excellent. Great place for Happy Hour.

This place was packed on a Friday night. The restaurant is pretty and the drinks were strong, but the food was just OK. The I had high hopes for the octopus dish but it was underwhelming- basically tasted and looked like chicken they way they presented it. The service was great, but there were a ton of people waiting for... More

I have stopped in at Southpark Seafood when visiting Portland several times over the past two years for late night happy hour, dinner and Sunday lunches. Every visit has been wonderful. Today I had the oyster lunch - 6 oysters and side of my choice. Each oyster was fresh and flavorful. The green salad with toasted hazelnuts and pear was... More

We ended up here for the dessert course of a progressive dinner tour. The desserts were very good, and those who ordered coffee said the coffee drinks were great. The dessert drinks were actually way too strong. The four of us that ordered drinks just had a couple sips and that was enough. Would like to go back for a... More

We had two recommendations for this restaurant, so we chose reservations at 5:30 on a Saturday and were shown to our table right away (with others waiting), so I guess reservations are a good idea! We were seated right by the front door and wait staff desk, which was a bit disappointing but it was not as distracting as I... More
