The food taste and quality are 5-star, but the portion sizes are very small and the prices are expensive for what they give you. Hence, this place is average at best. And, you better love red onions because you are going to get piles of...More

Nice tapas restaurant with live music. Warm atmosphere and good vibe. Food is good but I had better tapas. Maybe I got there too late. Would go back for sure.

We had a very enjoyable dinner here. Loved the ceviche, had excellent cocktails, and the scallops were truly memorable. Flavors were different and wonderful.

Great food & service! Must make this a stop for lunch or dinner. Distinct flavors. I do like heavy spices & our waitress was so helpful with great selections. We walked from hotel (Hampton Inn & Suites)but noticed their was street parking available also.

We were visiting Portland and our friends invited us to eat at Andina. It is in the Pearl district, a nice section of the city. When we arrived, the restaurant was very busy! We had a table downstairs in a smaller room which was nice....More

I had the scallops dish that was served on top of mashed potatoes. Good dish, but wasn’t wowed by it. Also had the soup special, which was delicious. For dessert I had the creme brûlée sampler which was outstanding.

My husband and I have been twice now for special occasions. Both experiences were magical. We shared two appetizers and two entrees and requested a pairing recommendation for a glass of wine with each item. I'll admit that I didn't really believe in wine pairing...More

Description
Andina draws inspiration from the native culinary traditions of Peru, as well as from the contemporary cooking by some of Peru’s leading chefs. Owner Doris Rodriguez de Platt, collaborates with Andina’s kitchen team to develop a menu that celebrates her family’s Andean roots, interweaving the ideas and techniques of both Criollo and Novo-Andean cuisines. The kitchen sources native and local ingredients to create dishes at once traditionally rooted and personally inspired. Founded in 2003, Andina emerged as one of the region’s leading Peruvian restaurants and continues to generate wide appeal within the food communities in and around Portland, and much further afield.
