We loved Andinas! Went there as a family group for a birthday dinner. Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic service and delicious food.

While we came to Portland with the intention of it being mostly a drinking vacation, we did eventually decide we needed to eat. And while most of those places did the job and were certainly good in their own right, this spot was far enough...More

Taken there by a friend who frequents “in places “ , we are not impressed. We travel more than 98% of people, and we seek authentic and tasty food from ordinary establishment. Andina would be a simple middle of the road quality place with larger...More

This is quite a unique Peruvian restaurant, very happening in a cool area of town. Great people watching, excellent appetizers, generous portions. Great service and good selection of wines. Nice side bar too. Very crowded, make reservations for sure.

My wife and I met my parents here for a ore theater dinner a few weeks back. We had a reservation and despite that theater we had to get to, separate arrivals by us and an ada need on top, we had incredible service and...More

Sorry, but we just don't get what the fuss is about. If you are a foodie, you won't remember what you ate a week later. We were so looking forward to a great experience. The service would be better placed in Orlando. We arrived on...More

The empanadas and chille rellenos were deelish! The mojitos were also great, and the space has a nice energetic feel to it. I will definitely be going back.

Wow! This was an amazing find! I’d heard of Andina before, but never experienced their amazing foods. Everyone at our table had different foods, so we all got to sample a variety of flavors. What a treat!! So many new and unusual flavors....This was not...More

Inventive and authentic. The owners take great care for honoring their culture and being sustainable. Private rooms are available for large gatherings. This is a good place.

Description
Andina draws inspiration from the native culinary traditions of Peru, as well as from the contemporary cooking by some of Peru’s leading chefs. Owner Doris Rodriguez de Platt, collaborates with Andina’s kitchen team to develop a menu that celebrates her family’s Andean roots, interweaving the ideas and techniques of both Criollo and Novo-Andean cuisines. The kitchen sources native and local ingredients to create dishes at once traditionally rooted and personally inspired. Founded in 2003, Andina emerged as one of the region’s leading Peruvian restaurants and continues to generate wide appeal within the food communities in and around Portland, and much further afield.
