Stopped in on a friends recommendation and so glad I did. Having been in the restaurant business for many years, I am picky to say the least. Andina impressed me on every level. Atmosphere is appealing to the eye and wait staff very helpful and...More

You can see the supervision by the owners. The service is meticulous. My tip is to order several of the hors d’oeuvres to check out the variety, rather than launching into one of their limited number of dinners. However, the wife ordered the porkchops and...More

Andina is a top-notch restaurant, and deserves to be among the top rated restaurants in Portland. They hosted the office Holiday Party and everything went smoothly. May of their entrees are gluten-free and were clearly marked as such, which is a huge bonus for me,...More

I would give this higher than five stars if I could. Everything was top notch, atmosphere, staff, FOOD! We enjoyed five small plates and dessert, which was more than we could finish and came to $71 without drinks and before tip, a splurge but totally....More

This place has tapas choices and entrees listed in their menu. We ordered the cauasa nikei (tuna), conchas parrilla (scallops), and the arroz con mariscos (paella). The conchas parrilla was so tasty we ordered another one. The pisco sour was better than the one we...More

Andina is located in an old light industrial district of Portland that is now revitalized and full of fun shops and restaurants. Andina is a highlight among them - the diverse interpretations of Peruvian food ensure that it is heavily booked most nights. Great ambience,...More

One of my top restaurants in Portland and it never disappoints. It can get pricey here but you get what you pay for.

I may have reviewed this once before. We ate here several years ago and had to return because we remembered having one of the best meals of our lives. It didn't disappoint this time, though it is expensive and it's possible that not everyone will...More

Description
Andina draws inspiration from the native culinary traditions of Peru, as well as from the contemporary cooking by some of Peru’s leading chefs. Owner Doris Rodriguez de Platt, collaborates with Andina’s kitchen team to develop a menu that celebrates her family’s Andean roots, interweaving the ideas and techniques of both Criollo and Novo-Andean cuisines. The kitchen sources native and local ingredients to create dishes at once traditionally rooted and personally inspired. Founded in 2003, Andina emerged as one of the region’s leading Peruvian restaurants and continues to generate wide appeal within the food communities in and around Portland, and much further afield.
