Great place to eat tapas so that you can try many different items on the menu. The staff was helpful on letting us know how much to order and which wine to drink. The owner came around as we were finishing up to make sure...More

I went to Andina as I read about it in so many blogs, and in all of them they were saying that there was no wrong choice. I ordered a Causa and I didn’t really loved it... it kind of a potato cold purée, flavor...More

We had a business dinner for a dozen or so people in a private room downstairs. Very good service, nice wines, and great food!

I read all the reviews and could hardly believe them! I believe now! I felt like I was back in Peru! The pisco sours, cebiche, and lomo saltado was just like it was in Peru. Amazing!!! The service was also excellent. A must visit while...More

Had a wonderful leg of lamb dish. Peruvian spicing is tasty and not overwhelming; food tasted like it was extremely thoughtfully prepared. Waitress made you feel so welcome that you felt like you were in someone's home.

Friends took me for the be-all and end-all of tapas to die for. Two levels with balcony overlooking the lower, rustic but lovely decor. Excellent service. Too many dishes to count, but I do remember the octopus as being especially good.

We were in Portland for my 50th birthday. Everyone had advice for where to eat and drink but somehow Andina was not mentioned. We found it 2 blocks from our AirBnb and it is where we had our best meal in Portland. I would recommend...More

We booked this to celebrate a birthday during our getaway weekend. I was skeptical of the restaurant quality but it was fantastic. Dining at 6p, we thought it would be empty but most tables were already seated in a lively atmosphere. The menu offers a...More

The empanada, asparagus, and civiche are my favorites. The 'sexy woman' signature drink is good but very sweet. The place is always busy so reservations are very highly recommended if not a requirement. Upstairs can be noisy so if you want something more quiet, request...More

Andina draws inspiration from the native culinary traditions of Peru, as well as from the contemporary cooking by some of Peru’s leading chefs. Owner Doris Rodriguez de Platt, collaborates with Andina’s kitchen team to develop a menu that celebrates her family’s Andean roots, interweaving the ideas and techniques of both Criollo and Novo-Andean cuisines. The kitchen sources native and local ingredients to create dishes at once traditionally rooted and personally inspired. Founded in 2003, Andina emerged as one of the region’s leading Peruvian restaurants and continues to generate wide appeal within the food communities in and around Portland, and much further afield.
