I think there's some lore around this place that social media has helped dissipate. It's in an old house next to a gas station, and there's not a formal sign, per say, but something taped in the door window so you know you've found the place. It's a sassy place, which I loved! The server put a candle on my... More

We opted out of dessert at a vegan restaurant and came here instead. Good call. Raspberry fool, blackberry cobbler and the ginger cake were all great!

Was empty but wait for seating was long. Maitre de / waiter was odd, but turned out to be odd-friendly. Tea was excellent. Decor was... strange. Classical background music. Next time I'd bring a game to play.

This place is so cool. The desserts and coffee are awesome, and well worth the visit. But the decor is really outstanding. Everything is decorated in Victorian style - and there are a few surprises in store as well. The wait staff is also fantastic.

The food and atmosphere was great with live music in the background. The mexican mocha taste like it was from starbuck and the fudge brownie was just perfect. The bathroom was another story. They did such a good job on the decoration. It was a little creepy. I was scared to walk in because the light was very dim with... More

Very unique and different experience. The dessert was awesome. The Mexican Mocha was amazing! And the musician was very lovely and kind. Never experienced a place that made me feel so many different things at once. Can't really explain it... you will have to go to experience it yourself . We took our 3 boys ages, 16,15 and 12. Went... I love this place! We make it our go-to place for incredibly good coffee and very tasty desserts whenever we're out and about in Portland later in the evening. The waitstaff is wonderful - friendly, helpful and ready with coffee refills. Last night we had the warmed apple crisp with vanilla bean ice cream, topped with whipped cream and fresh... More

Being a classically-trained musician, I mostly went here because I thought the name was funny. I didn't know what to expect, but it was definitely an experience! Food: I had a cappuccino, and my husband had an iced latte. Both were some of the best we'd ever tasted. I'd originally wanted to try the orange cappuccino, but the waitress said... More

Feelings of unease and comfort can rarely occupy the same space. When they do, it may feel a lot like what Rimsky has to offer. Dark, yet warm. Atmospheric yet disconnected. Cramped, without once producing feelings of claustrophobia. From the outside, it takes the appearance of an aging house, that presumably was built long ago, but smacks of having an... More

An old house that's been converted into a coffee and desserts cafe that really laid back and the epitome of hipster. There are musicians occasionally and the desserts are great! Everyone goes to see the bathroom though as its both creepy and fascinating.
